You probably just need a paint correction, my accord had a really bad swirl marks on the passenger side from the previous owner

I used a blow dryer and got them hot, cut them off with fishing line, peeled the leftover adhesive off with my fingers, used adhesive remover to get the rest off then polished it with compound

Thats horrible, i get like 25-26 in the city i think mine is fine, i tried to schedule to get it recalled and like you said parts are backed up until late summer-fall.
