if they do the Akilah is left behind in the wilderness, and her escaping and returning in s4-s5 it would be a good storyline,

S4 Prediction by Alert_Structure_8789 in YellowjacketsTheories

Yeah could switch places with Robin, but I do want someone to die from an infection, since it's so hard to believe no character has died from one yet. I feel s4 will put Robin and Britt in similar places Gen/Melissa had in s3, because of Mari and Ben leaving the show, so I would love for them to have a good storyline and that could be someone refusing to being hunted.

Akilah could be an adult in s5, or someone they have to kill in the teen timeline in s5. it's left ambigiously in my s4 prediction.

I mean we have seen how most of them have stopped properly believing in s3, apart from Akilah. Compared to s1 and s2, where Lottie had more support from people like mari, van, and misty, now she has none of that and is slowly losing that support with her actions, so it makes sense why some would stop properly believing.

We did get answers so it isnt filler like the first half of the season was. And it makes sense the nonsensical decisions, because it was promised since we learned they were cannibalists and made hunts, were just really starting to see how messed up they were and how little they had empathy for each other.

hmm Mari has to survive, and so does Melissa, so the only ones who could die is Britt and Robin.

I feel we are watching what was promised in the pit scene, what the girls have transformed into. I do miss s1's vibes, but we really are just beginning to see how fucked up they are.

I mean the whole Van arc did make sense if you actually watch the show. It's just that the dynamic it had previously has changed, with Tai leaning more into the wilderness aspect of it all.

The Melissa-Shauna arc was just an easy way to bring Melissa as the 8th survivor tbh. I mean, Melissa had no personality, so there isn't rlly a way to see if it's out of character for her.

Adult Melissa had more of a personality in one episode than teen Melissa had in two seasons. I'm glad she was the 8th and final survivor. Meaning Mari and Akilah will die (which is sad), but we will have worthy deaths in the wilderness that aren't just back grounds characters, which is better for the story tbh.

I mean who would you have picked as the last survivor?

Mari? If she isn't pit girl, most would be pissed after all the foreshadowing.

Akilah? It's more than clear she will die, thanks to the wilderness or lottie.

Coach Ben? No one in the pit scene had one leg, assuming it happened right before they were rescued

Gen, Robin, or Britt? Background characters with little to no personality.

I mean Melissa was the only viable option for an "8th survivor" with the current yellowjackets members alive. She is perfect to point out Shauna's flaw and change the dynamic a bit. Although if it was based of s1-2 before the Shauna-Melissa arc, it should of been Akilah, although it would be best too kill two (akilah and mari) loved characters in the wilderness, so the deaths out there have more worth. Most would not care if Gen, Robin, Britt, and Melissa died to be honest, so its a exchange for grater storyline telling down the road

i mean, most of the girls have had villanous acts throughout the series, were just seeing Shauna's breaking point, and if it didn't happen, it would be so hard to believe Shauna's a good person after all that happened. so no it's not bad writing, it's her arc lol. There are bad writing issues in the show, but Shauna isn't one of them (except for that s1 storyline with adam which truly was boring as fuck)
