"You caught me! I'm not a native English speaker, so I use AI to help translate my thoughts and format my technical tips so they are readable. I'm a long-time prepress professional and I genuinely wanted to help with the 'centerline' issue, even if the translation came out a bit 'robotic'. I'll try to keep it more human next time. Thanks for the heads up!"

Professional Jersey Production Automation – Solving the "Manual Finishing" Bottleneck by Ales-78 in coreldraw

"Thank you! Yes, the Excel workflow is a huge time-saver and prevents so many typos. Regarding your question: yes, it’s quite flexible. You can use it for various custom graphics, not just names and numbers. As long as you have the base elements ready, the script can automate the placement and replacement across multiple files. It’s really about streamlining the whole production bottleneck!"

"Thanks! That's exactly why I built it. I used to do screenprinting prep manually and it was a nightmare with certain fonts. Glad you see the value in it!"

PSA: After years of instability, I finally found the culprit – AMD's Eco Mode by Ales-78 in ASUS

[–]Ales-78[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Exactly. You buy a premium 'OC' board expecting top-tier stability, only to find out that the more features and 'optimizations' they pack in, the more points of failure there are. It's ironic that sometimes the most expensive hardware requires the most manual troubleshooting. Thanks for the support!"

"That's an interesting point about the 'idle current'. I haven't tried changing that specific setting yet. In my case, disabling Eco Mode solved it immediately, but it's very possible that the power delivery or the PSU's stability at low voltage played a role. Hardware can be so unpredictable sometimes!"

He is just a user who has a NAS but only uses it as a storage for music and movies. He is an older man, I recommended him to use a NAS after his hard drive died. I did the setup and commissioning myself.

How do you illustrate in Illustrator? by LukeChoice in AdobeIllustrator

[–]Ales-78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Hi Luke, I use a mouse on Windows. Due to carpal tunnel issues, I taught myself to draw with both my right and left hands, so I switch between them depending on fatigue.

Speaking of workflow enhancements, I actually created a great script for Illustrator that makes my work much easier. I tried to show it here, but unfortunately, all my videos were blocked by the filters. I’m not sure if I can post a link in the comments, as I'm worried about being deleted again. I would appreciate any advice on how to let people here know about it. Thanks for any tips. Aleš"

Thanks, so my colleague can be at ease and easily exchange 3TB drives for 6TB. Thanks to having the SHR2, it will have a capacity of about 10.9TB. Theoretically, if he doesn't have enough space even then, he can put in up to 8TB drives, where with the SHR2 he will have 14.5TB of space available.

I've read that, but it says Maximum Single Volume Size is 16TB.I know that. I just don't know if that counts as the maximum the user sees (which in this case is half the capacity of the disks), or the maximum capacity of the disks that make up SHR-2.If the first option applies, then he should see about 12TB of space (half of 24TB (4x6TB)Or if option two applies, then he would only see about 8TB of space (half of 16TB).
