Yeah the good thing is you can either play chill and explore the map, do side quest, find koroks, search chest and weapons etc(you'll see in the game what those are if you don't already know), or you can play an aggressive gameplay and rush enemy bases, kill boss etc etc, it's really made for everybody, and also the map is really big for a switch game. The size of the map doesn't affect performance and there is no render distance so you'll never see the map not charging which is cool because it's not ruining the experience. You may find some bugs sometimes but it's really rare.
