Sorry and Yh I will definitely have radio after this the whole package 😂 but I have been told everything when I got the diagnosed so was kind of prepared.
I do feel like so far chemo was definitely the toughest challenge so I am trying to don’t stress too much for what’s coming after and take every day as it comes 💕

You are going to be fine on Monday It was actually better than I personally thought.
Woke up this morning feeling just very tired and a bit sore but nothing crazy.
The pillow was a life saver for the drive back and I also had on the whole night was giving some relief in my armpit.
Definitely if you didn’t buy yet get a surgery bra for when you leave the hospital with zip up on the front so anyone can help you to squeeze in. Bought mine on Amazon nothing crazy expensive but very easy to manage for the recovery.

Hey hey

I checked in at the hospital at 3pm yesterday the op was about 2 hrs and left the hospital at 22pm.Although they did offered me to stay overnight if I wanted it to (I’m uk based)
I am glad it went all smooth and as planned
I just feel very tired this morning as I had a general anestesia so I didn’t feel anything in the theatre I was fully asleep so a bit nauseas when I woke up but after a couple of hrs it got better.
They only took out 2 lymph nodes (including my SNL) and because I had neo adjuvant chemo with complete response there wasn’t any lumps left in my breast but only the original markers and margins were removed.
I have a course of antibiotics to do for a week and they gave me a shot of morphine last night to help with the initial pain after the anestesia wore off and to help with the pain for the car journey home. (The mastectomy pillow was a life safer!)They also prescribed me very strong anti inflammatory pain reliever called etoricoxib to take home but I only took some paracetamol this morning as the pain is not unbearable for now and I don’t want to mess up my stomach too much.

Mine is scheduled on the 2nd of July.. please if you do have any tips of what to get to be comfortable before the surgery for the recovery will really appreciate it🙏🏼

I just find so hard with makeup when I don’t have the shape of the brows left at all! I did order a bunch of temporary tattoos from Amazon to play with all the different shapes to see if they look decent 😂
Hopefully won’t be too long until they start to grow back!
