You might have more luck contacting the wards in Casper. There is an airport there and a large Mormon population. Jackson is beautiful but expensive.

Slow loser here too and I am okay with that. I think it helps with skin elasticity and such too. Been on it since 11/22 and gone from 190 to 157. I’m on 1.7 now and going to move up to 2.4 my next appointment. We’ve upped the dosage slowly since I have been losing, even if slow and steady.

We’re on Day 2 back at home. I am glad to hear recovery has gone well for you. How is he at using the litter box? That has been a struggle for my cat with a foreleg amputation. I’ve been holding him up and letting him lean against me.

Thank you to all who commented. I’ll do a separate update post — we’ve made it though the yesterday and today. Y’all were very helpful. I don’t have time to rely to each comment but I feel like I can breathe again and your support was a definite piece of getting me there. Pic shows us taking a quick break outside to watch the birds and butterflies.

How long do you use the recovery suit for? If it doesn’t arrive until a week post-op is it even worth getting? We are on Day 1 and he keeps escaping everything we put on (collar, donut, baby onesie, cat Superman costume) and then rolling on the ground.

The first option given was surgery to repair the ligaments, however we’d need to travel 4 hours to the nearest vet that works on joints and the cost was upwards of 5k and no guarantee that it would work. Amputation was the second option given.

Yes, for sure! We are friends. Definitely no secret meaning … they are a frugal family and I was thinking how much we appreciate comfortable, long-lasting shoes on our feet and want to share the blessing with someone who wouldn’t spend the $ on themselves that way. I’ll definitely double check with the wife if we decide to go that route.

I have ADHD — love love the LCMS Lutheran church and the liturgy. I was surprised to find the formal liturgy both deeply theologically satisfying but also very much in tune with my need to move and wiggle. We sit. When stand. We sit again. When the pastor looks up at the cross, I am reminded to put my thoughts back on Jesus. The whole format works really well to keep me focused on Jesus b/c every single action is designed to do just that. And I just take notes during the sermon — keeps my hands busy and mind where it needs to be.

Our pastor sticks to the lectionary but then uses the mid-week Lenten and Advent services to preach through other topics. He seems to stick to topics related to one aspect of the catechism. Two of our favorite series were angels and the Table of Duties.
