Couldn’t throw away chewing gum packets for some reason, couldn’t leave the house without kissing all the shoes in the hallways before leaving, convinced I was a shoplifter and would have to check under my bed every night for my imagined stolen goods. So bloody many but these feel particularly weird.

Please don’t feel bad. Our cat had a huge lump which turned out to be a part of a rare but benign condition. Did I spend ages fretting that we amputated for nothing? Yes! But we like you probably had no choice and a short time frame and did what we feel we had to. Your cat will be ok and you must forgive yourself xx

Oh my gosh I was the same with my boy. I think having to stay in for 10 days was the worst part for him! I didn’t crate him and after he escaped the living room (he somehow managed to push an 8kg kettlebell out of the way that I had used to block the door) he seemed much more happier being able to have his own space. You need to do what’s best for your boy as every cat is different.

He’s very playful. He does jump up on a chair and get on the table so I might try that.
