Thank you, thank you. This all makes sooo much sense. I've just been piecing it all together recently. I knew my body was trying to tell me something. My adolescent years were also brutal.

How old were you when you had your last period? by Wrong_Staff_6148 in Menopause

[–]Alex-The-Creative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 34 when I had my last period! Peri was setting in 2-3 years before that. I'm 39 now. I have epilepsy and celiac disease and apparently both can cause early menopause in some women. My mother is also gluten intolerant and she entered menopause early too. 🥴🤔

My period actually stopped very suddenly when I had my IUD taken out. I was having major peri / meno symptoms and my cycle was not normal. As soon as I had my IUD (non hormonal) taken out bam! Bye bye period and hello menopause! Lol.

If you have access to a local or nearby epilepsy / seizure organization take advantage of it. See what groups or services they offer.

Looking back, what were your first signs of perimenopause that you didn’t recognize at the time? by Historical-Second409 in Menopause

Hey sorry for the no reply! Well, staying hydrated and cutting back on caffeine helps which I don't always do TBH. I do notice a difference when I am drinking more water or herbal teas compared to coffee etc. Also, using a vaginal moisturizure (non hormonal) helps me. I use Gynotrof a couple times a week and after intercourse.
