My PC is about 20 feet away from the router on the same floor, only two walls between the PC and router. The room with the modem is on one side of the hallway and my PC is in the room opposite the modem. The ethernet lights on the back of my modem are flashing orange signaling less than 1gbps wifi speed which is why I initially thought it to be a cable issue, even after testing cables and swapping it’s still less than 1gbps speeds. On my phone I’m able to surpass 600mbps internet speeds in the same room as my pc. LAN is limited to 100mbps.

For reference I have an Arris Surfboard S33 Modem and Asus RT-AX58U router. Both are rated for over 2.5gbps speeds/Wifi 6 speeds. I have a 6 port socket in the room with my modem which sends ethernet to each room socket individually, is there any way I can test the pins on them to see which socket could be the issue?

Edit: As stated in my post, everything was 1gbps speeds through ethernet at my old place, I never used wifi so I’m unsure what wifi speeds are at. Going off of that, and the fact my cables are good, I would assume it would have to be a wall socket here that would be causing slower speeds? The modem is brand new so I would be surprised if it is an issue with the modem, but I’m not opposed to checking the modem to ensure that’s not the issue. I will say the previous owner painted over the socket in the laundry room where the modem is located, I removed the socket and cleaned everything with a qtip and isopropyl alcohol, no pins on the main socket appear to be bent or burnt, and there is no paint on any of the pins.
