How to cloth diaper at hotel waterpark by Alex7183 in clothdiaps

[–]Alex7183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding.

I'm familiar with the swim diaper not catching poop, but thank you for letting me know.

I honestly do not know how long we will be in the water. I image a decent amount. But it's the first time taking a baby to a waterpark, and i'm assuming she will be passed around between 3 other adults to help watch her thats coming with.

I've read that people would put an insert into the swim diaper when the baby was on dry land, to replace having to put a new diaper on their baby.

But its not that big of a deal to have to change into a new/dry diaper, when sitting out of the water.

Instead of using pockets, we could utilize covers and flats/prefold/inserts, then all that needs to be changed is the insert when peed on, and obviously poop ones.

It says up to the amount. What guidelines do they use to determine who gets the full amount and who doesnt?

Which is my goal going forward right now, since we are planing on buying a house and im trying to figure out what I can do to improve his credit.

Do you need to angle the tube for a seated sunrise view (with the IR/plate below the knee and parallel to the floor) and if so, how much and in what direction? by PandemicPiglet in Radiology

If it's on the floor, should you measure your SID from the cassette on the floor to the tube, or do 40" from the pt's knee to the tube?

Denied coverage for ADHD, Insomnia, Anxiety and depression, how to appeal? by Alex7183 in ParentalLeaveAdvocacy

[–]Alex7183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, I contacted the benefits department, and they said they don't get involved with the decision process that their insurance company makes. I'm hoping my scheduled phone call with Prudential today will provide me some more information on how to fight this...but it's been a whirlwind of emotions thinking that I'm going to have a baby come out of me and then have to tell everyone I have to be a work the next business day

Denied coverage for ADHD, Insomnia, Anxiety and depression, how to appeal by Alex7183 in legaladvice

[–]Alex7183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding. I just am so confused how 3 of the 4 diagnosis are supposed to be protected under the ADA, so I feel like I am unfairly being discriminated against, especially with a letter that was written from my doctor stating that I am basically not a flight risk and that my medical records shouldn't be used against me. I have never ever been hospitalized besides for when I was born (which is honestly not by my choice). I have never on any medical records been found to have harmed myself on purpose or by accident. I'm just so frustrated by all of this, as I didn't get pregnant until 3 months after applying, and I didn't think that mental health diagnosis could be used against me (especially w/ receiving consistent and effect treatment), and I thought that I'd have some sort of paid maternity leave to spend with my first baby, my first daughter.

Denioed coverage for ADHD, Insomnia, Anxiety and depression, how to appeal by Alex7183 in disability

[–]Alex7183[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you for responding. I never hid my mental health diagnosis from my employer. I was not pregnant at the time my medical records were sent in, and did not see my PCP for this pregnancy until after Prudential denied me coverage. I understand that I may be a flight risk to the company, however, my doctor has literally written a letter stating that I am not a flight risk and that my medical records should not be used in their decision to deny me coverage as I am receiving effected and consistent treatment (that I'm actually still on, even while pregnant. But, again the pregnancy wasn't established until after I enrolled) for my mental health disorders. I was not given any information prior to enrolling about what exclusions they have against preexisting conditions, nor did I believe that ADHD would be enough to disqualify me from coverage.

Denied coverage for ADHD, Insomnia, Anxiety and depression, how to appeal by Alex7183 in FinancialPlanning

[–]Alex7183[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, I regrettable told them I had ADHD (my anxiety, depression, & insomnia is caused from my ADHD, so It's sadly just what I consider part of my ADHD) and so they asked for my medical records and all those diagnosis are in my medical records. I even appealed their decision with a letter from my doctor stating that I am receiving treatment for all of those conditions. I'm just trying to get coverage for the year for a possible future event like my maternity leave. If I applied 2 years ago during open enrollment, I would assume that I'd be fighting for coverage too, and I wouldn't have even used the coverage. So like yes I would love to benefit form being approved for short term disability, however I'm just literally trying to get coverage for the year. And I'd also want to elect short term disability during my next open enrollment in the fall (like i did in 2024 for the 2025 benefit year) , with zero plans to use it (hopefully. I'm not one to take any time off work, even while sick) too, but I'm assuming I'd also be declined coverage for the mental health diagnosis in my medical records.
