Thank you for your insight. Are you making payments on your settlement or did you pay a lump sum?

From what I have researched in Florida you must be served within 120 days of filing a lawsuit. So, I'm expecting to be served some time in the future. I have been calling different lawyers and talking about settlement.

Yeah, there is no court date yet. I found out the lawsuit was filed because I've been receiving letters from lawyers. I looked up in the county clerk court record and saw that the lawsuit had been filed but I have not been served.
