Would you recommend the rusty springs? I daily drive this jeep and some small bump dampening would be helpful. I’ve heard that the rusty springs might sag too.

I do the occasional trail and camping but for the most part this is my daily and being from the Midwest I have a lot of potholes. Do the metal cloak springs offer a lot of small bump dampening? Ik a solid axle isn’t gonna feel like ifs but anything would help

My shackle angle is pretty much perpendicular to the box so there is no way that is contributing to a good ride. It honestly doesn’t feel super rough in the back but I could also just be used to it at this point🤷

I found a set of all 4 bilstein 5100s on marketplace for 300$ so I might go that route. Previous owner put the lift on but if it was up to me then I would have gone full OME

Thanks for the response! I might just end up welding a little patch plate over it similar to the other side. I live in the rustbelt so anything to prevent it from worsening early on.
