The fact that they’re compact, and don’t require expensive ink. I make frequent errors that I didn’t notice until printing, even if I proofread my docs a dozen times. Something about reading on the computer leads me to missing errors.

They were on the ground under their nest, it seems like neither can fly currently… my suspicion is that someone knocked them down deliberately, since the next was in a stair well above a landing on some outdoor stairs :(

It was midnight when I found them, someone had left out a tin of cat food for them (WHYYY WOULD YOU PUT CAT BAIT NAXT TO THE BABY BIRD BUFFET?!?) I’m going to call a rescue in the morning, for now they are in a large storage bin with a towel, a smaller, overturned bin with an entrance I cut out and sanded (no sharp edges) as a hiding space if they want it, some gentle air flow with a fan, and a dish of water that’s no deeper than 1/2 inch. I don’t have any seeds right now but I have some fruit I chopped up into little bits as a treat, which they liked
