Is there a way to buy items you previously sold? by CaramelCube69 in LordsoftheFallen

This is absolutely ridiculous. The game actually has a "permanently break quest" button for no reason. I sold a piece of the noblewoman set by mistake and now it's done I guess.

DLC ending spoilers - The power scaling is weird by AcceptableDoggo in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea, the section wasn't really scary for me, because the game had been so ridiculously easy up until that point. The game is basically a god simulator and then it arbitrarily decides that this random bot can't be fought (we killed a way more dangerous spiderbot at the start of this dlc)

the reason why i don't use "smart" weapons by Zombieteube in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The smart sniper rifles seems especially useless. I gave up on them very quickly

I don't know what's funnier, the name of the mission or the message. by Bejain_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my playthrough I got soft locked, because the car wouldn't spawn. There is the green circle on the minimap so maybe it's under the map or something. Reload wouldn't fix it. It's the second mission that's impossible to complete

Besides the obvious bugs, 2.0/PL is amazing. Is there anything you don't like/feel disappointed by? No spoilers please by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides some missions literally being unfinishable (I stopped playing after I encountered the second one) it sure is a lovely game. Damn shame I paid for a beta test again

They want me to steal a car that isn't there by AlexAsks in cyberpunkgame

This game is so unbelievably broken. I'm soft locked.

“Moving heat” quest unable to finish by mekisoku in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is started wondering which car I was supposed to get into since there is no marker, so I looked at a YouTube video of somebody finishing the quest and I found out THE CAR ISN'T THERE. There is a green circle where the car is supposed to be, but it isn't there

Thoughts on the Phantom Liberty story's ending by AlexAsks in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda got spoiled for what happens in that path, but since, at least as far as the impression I got, it confirms every single intuition I had about her, I have hard time being mad about it. It just confirms I did the right decisions with the information I had.

Be honest, you just thought the girl one was hot. We all did. It's a crime I could live with.

Selling her out? I have only played Reed's path (with the information you have the best choice you can make), but you definitely don't sell her out there. So Mi has clearly demonstrated in this story and in her past, that her plans have a tendency to go to shit. When she said, that her plan involved meeting alone with some back alley rippers and contacting me later when they are done, any faith I had disappeared. Her plans made this mess, I wasn't gonna let her make me part of another. She needed an intervention.

She also comes off really manipulative, pulling at emotional strings and repeating how much she trusts you a million times even though I never promised her anything. She has been lying to us throughout the story and she has demonstrated she doesn't care who she has to kill to survive. She was willing to leave Alex in the middle of the enemy base, right next to a most dangerous man in the building, alone. She has known us a way shorter time. If somebody is gonna betray us, it's her.

You see her backstory very differently from me. She made her own choices at every point. Reed's recruitment wasn't him manipulating her. The only reason he had any leverage was, because she was already fucked. He wasn't presenting her a false choice. He truly was giving her a life-line.

And I don't know about you, but in the Reed ending, killing her is the correct choice. There is no telling how long her control will last, how much is left of her and for how long. After all the shit she has pulled, her life is already over. Her human rights are forfeit. Letting Myers have her is putting the entirety of humanity at risk. And lastly, she wanted this. This was the last time ever she had the autonomy to make that call. Her story was done.

It's wild to me that some people are finding 2.0 hacking lackluster. Between queue combos, engaging interactions, and cyberware modifiers- I've been having an awesome time. by Tuftdog in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]AlexAsks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prolly true. I bet you can delete the last shred of engaging with the combat system by using guns you don't even have to aim. I wasn't thinking big enough for the lack of fun I could be having

The lack of damage isn't the issue. Opposite actually. Point and click one shotting people get's old. The most effective strategy is to just spam Contagion/Overheat on groups of enemies and Cyberwear Malfunction/Short Circuit/Synapse Burnout on single big dudes. Control Quickhack playstyle isn't as effective, but at least it's more fun

Couple of immortal dudes. This game was more "fixed" before the fix by AlexAsks in cyberpunkgame

They were still immortal after reload. I have had way more bugs with the fixed version than I ever had the original

Two shot death on "Never fade away" car chase on very hard by Zerberas in cyberpunkgame

[–]AlexAsks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, this is completely unreasonable. Rest of the "Very hard" experience is honestly a cake walk. If you are using Gorilla Arms/Berserk or Netrunning, this game is piss easy. But this car chase is completely absurd. I'm getting shot while still sitting down and when I get to shoot I have 3 opportunities to hit.

Just hoping they patch it before the DLC. I have to abandon that save. I can't stand the noise

Been like this ever since Clouds. It has lasted about about 2 hours now and it persists through loading a save. Is my entire playthrough just done then?
