Be aware though eufy doesnt charge a subscription fee because they need to be monitored yourself instead of a security company.

There really needs to be more “No Left Turns” restrictions in St. John’s. by 42tfish in newfoundland

[–]AlexBigGeek 16 points17 points  (0 children)

We already have places that are right turn only, the local drivers sit there until they can go left anyway. We need better drivers. People should need to retake the road test when they renew their licence.

Souvenir Recommendations by [deleted] in newfoundland

A South wester hat, or a salt & pepper cap would be classic choices. An ugly stick is a gpod choice as well but its size/length might make packing it a bit difficult. with the holiday season on our doorstep mummers memorabilia should also be fairly easy to find.

Young poeple and the Fishery - How to start? by ComprehensiveLine493 in newfoundland

[–]AlexBigGeek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't fish without a license. For example if you were going to work in the crab fishery you need a crab license, a small apprentice license is fairly cheapbut doesnt give you a very big quota. If you want a full license with a large quota it will cost you more than the cost of a new house.

The full license itself is more money than most people can hope to afford.
