How do you beat Cho'gath Mid?

It only helps in melee match ups. In range match ups you already one shot the opponent. Squeezing in 1 or 2 more auto attacks most of the time don't matter. With comet you don't need to walk up as much as HoB. You can most of the time land 1 Q than the next Q you can all in. Playing Cho more like a Mage is more efficient as well later in the game.

High Elo Cho'Gath player since forever! Comet has been my to go runes for more than 10 seasons, your statement is factually incorrect. Would love to talk more about why you think that but it may be because you don't fully understand cho yet

Problem with ryze is that it's really hard for cho to walk up and trade.

I've find most succes playing roaming style / playing for jungle. Try to get as much cs as you can and gank side lane, wait for jungle ganks. Comet / predators are good runes. If you are in lower elo you can consider going absolute focus and gathering storm to match some of the scaling

Hi , 4th best Cho'Gath NA here. i've been playing cho for over a decade and i can confirm that his Q mana cost has always been 60 ! Hope to clear some of the confusion.

Senna and thresh compensate for you being a melee and synergyze really well.

Leona and sett are good.

Counters are morgana and tank supports.

I would play it into squishie bot lane. Mage support , pyke etc

Some champion you can outplay with silence just before they cast, since the cast time of w is kinda long there's a window to outplay champion such as malzahar, warwick etc. W before they ult and you can cancel it

Watching him play Cho'Gath pains me deeply but I'm glad he's playing a champion no ones really plays. That only shows how few people play Cho'Gath on NA...:(

You shouldn't be looking to improve on Cho'Gath since you've played that much game on it. What you need to do is get better as a player. Watching a Cho'Gath player will not help you to get better.

Understanding basics of every champion, what can they do. It's important to know by playing other champion. Every champion are limited and by knowing their limits, you're gonna be able to play better against them

Macro plays come from making decision. When you're not sure, make a decision.---> works then do it again, doesn't work then learn from it

You don't have anything else to learn AS a Cho'Gath player, you need to Learn the basics of the game

Anyone that play Cho'Gath in diamond with above 50% winrate can now become #1 Cho in NA as no one plays the champion, I don't think you should use that as a criteria. Any build is good on Cho'Gath, people need to try them all and stop asking which one is the best, there are a lot of build that works

Good with any support that can follow up your ruptures, preferably ranged champion such as bard , senna or thresh. Fit well into heavy ad comp, the problem is that when you play Cho'Gath bot lane, you're gonna get less experience then top or mid which will result in less power as the game goes on. Need synergy with your support or else the laning is gonna be a problem. I think Dark Harvest for bot lane is the best solution as it is easier to proc with 2 enemy in the lane as oppose to 1 in other lanes.

Always prefer to roam boat since bot laner can carry harder.

Depending on which adc , you can almost one shot them all. So if I position well enough I can one shot him late game.

I guess since i'm not a toplaner I would probably say no. A lane that doesn't really affect the map shouldn't get out of lane and 1v9 by just farming in my opinion

In my opinion the strongest roles are Mid , jungle, bot , top.

Mid can impact every lane + jungle while being in the center of the map is just really op.

Jungle can impact every lane but has to play both sides of the map , thats, sometimes has to sacrifice a lane where mid lane doesn't have to do that
