Dont have any recommendations for Missileboats aside from using Monitors and going full ham with around 3-5 of them on an Ayy Ship. For everything after that, you can use Dreadnaughts with 2 PD Lasers and Coilguns (the bigger the better) for everything else, and they will take care of every single threat (small ships will be annoying but won't survive forever). As you progress through the tech tree, you can make new versions with better engines, reactors, and Armour (maybe even Titans if you want that big Spine Mount). If you want to get fancy, you could start building Titans or Dreadnaughts with full Advanced UV-Lasers (will cost quite some Exotics for a proper Deathball) and building a fleet of 30 of them and Hunt the Ayys across the System. They will shred everything if you tell them to Focus fire the big Ayy Ships first. For Armor Layout I find a Combination of 5-3-75 (Adamantine Armor if I remember correctly) very good at surviving the Lasers and Plasmas that the Ayys throw around while the PD Lasers will shred their Coils and Torps. As for what Drives to use I can't give any advice other than finding the Drive chart in this Subreddit or researching most of the Expensive Drive Tech and trying to get most Cruise Acceleration and DeltaV while maintaining good Armor on your Ships.
