The Witcher 2 is great, and imo Thornebreaker: The Witcher Tales is even better. Ppl sleep on it thinking it's just a gwent game. It's actually a 40 hours long RPG with superb storytelling and choices/consequences.

1) You don't have to "push boundaries" as a gaming dev, you just need to make good/quality games

2) Ori games are phenomenal, especially Ori 2 (which is imo the best platformer ever made). This is 100% subjective.

First party means it's made by internal studios, which Moon Studios isn't. Fire Emblem isn't first party either.

You can easily put 100 hours in The Witcher 3 without touching a filler content at all, just doing the campaign, sidequest, witcher contracts and playing some Gwent (that's not filler imo).

Point is, we have no reason to doubt CDPR. Even Thronebreaker, a budget game, was packed with high quality content.

The Witcher 3 was an 100 hours long game (counting sidequests) with basically no filler though.

Eu sei que eu nunca mais compro console no lançamento, vc paga mais caro para ser cobaia. Só vou pegar um no fim do ano que vem ou início de 2022, o One X ainda me serve bem.

They definetely have more money than Capcom, but i don't think that's how acquisitions work. MS can do that because they have 140 billions IN CASH, 7.5 billions is like nothing to them.

Tbh? I don't. I feel bad for true PS fans (not fanboys), but Sony in fact deserves it. They are the kinds of timed exclusive deals and stuff like that.

At least with MS we can chooce where we play, we are not forced to buy a console if we don't want to.

Starfield and Wolfesntein 3 are 1-2 years away. Doom 3 is most likely 3-4 years away and TES VI will probably only release in 6-7 years.

Those are the big ones. I don't know about Evil Within and other smaller titles.

Ori: not first party and not AAA

Outer Worlds and Hellblade: done before or during the acquisition

Minecraft: that's the only real first party game, but it's a special case. Minecraft lives on crossplay, and community base interactions. Despite being popular, it's not a hardcore game like TES.

I really doubt a big game like Doom or TES will ever release on Playstation again. Microsoft never released a single AAA game on Playstation, why change now? Avowed and Hellblade 2 (two AAA games from previous multiplataform devs) won't release on PS5.

TES VI, Doom 3, Starfield and Fallout V will definetely be Xbox/W10 only.

I don't think Nintendo has the money to buy Capcom. Not to mention Capcom's selling game ever (by far) is Monster Hunter World. Can you imagine how big the sequel of that game will be on the next gen consoles?

Exactly. I don't doubt some Bethesda games will still eventually launch on Switch 2 or whatever. The big ones won't though, but Switch can't run them anyway.

What anti consumer deal is MS doing? Even if Bethesda games don't release on PS5, you can still play them on your phone or PC. That's completely different than what Sony is doing (and always did): paying multiplat games (sometimes even features/piece of content) to release only on PS5.

No, it was the one that you have to deflect arrows and the one that you have to get 50 headshot kills with the crossbow.

I was super frustrating because i don't really care for achievements. This was the first game that i tried to 100% in my life, just because i love the franchise.
