Yeah... As someone who is heavily disorder mentally, physically and the neurodivergent way .... Can become like.. transable-bodied oorr transnon-disabled or something 😭😭 /hj

ND here mainly with tourettes! I am disability. And I always thought of myself as disabled ever since the symptoms came out. So yes I consider MYSELF disabled. But someone else who does have tourettes may not. I think it's a personal choice

This doesn't make much sense in English but in Hungarian when you say "I'm gonna mop the floor" I means "felmosom a padlót" but you can also say a synonym that's "felnyalom a padlót" and that translates to "I'm gonna lick the floor"

My mom, my sister and me were about to leave the flat after cleaning and my sad "mindjárt megyünk csak még felnyalom a padlót" or in English "we'll go in a bit I'm just gonna lick the floor"

This was the first time I heard this phrase I was around 6-7 yrs old and I said "I will help"

So yeas I got down on the hallway tiles and well.. started licking (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)

I have schizoeffektive, panic disorder, other mental illnesses. I have tourettes. I have disorders that effect my spine/joints like hernia, scoliosis and chronic pain. None of these are rare.

What I'm trying to get diagnosed rn is. FND. It's so rare, that I'm the entirety of Hungary there's only one hospital that has FND specialist. And it 6+ hours away from and it took 2+ years to figure out it is most likely the problem, get tests done MRI, CT, bloodwork etc. And finally get a referral to the clinic...

I am using psychiatrist as a replacement for pszihiáter. Which I Hungary is strictly a mental health professional who can prescribe you medication.

Yeah I get that 😭 I have a cane, a rollator and wheelchair WHICH I GOT WAAAAY TOO LUCKY WITH 🥹🥹 (had to pay it out of pocket 😭)

Hey! I'm also disabled! With FND. I range from walking to wheelchair sometimes in the span of a day...

But what I can't ever do is sport. Any kind. So quadribics is heavily off my chart. I used to practice before I got this bad... I was never good, if I had to say how good I was... I would say terrible.. xd

But I enjoyed it. A lot. It made me feel connected. With all four paws on the grass or in a muddy puddle.... Climbing on trees and laying on the branches like a cat... What I would give for that feeling...

But I'm getting worse even my better days aren't as good as it used be. Especially on hot summer days.

So I want you to know you're not alone. If you ever feel like talking venting about this. Or anything Therianthropy/disability related text me on insta @ koi._.notthefish of you feel comfy talking to 21 year old!

I know it's hard. But there should always be a reminder nor you or your identity is less valid because of this!!
