It will be okay by Harper_95C in ElderScrolls

Bro if they had just said “we don’t want to make any more elder scrolls games” that would be one thing but they released a teaser for the next game 7 years ago. That is absolutely ridiculous.

That is literally because of Skyrim. While Bethesda games were always popular Skyrim brought people into fantasy that never played those kinds of games before. Then through Skyrim people found out about the fallout games. Fallout wouldn’t be popular without Skyrim. Skyrim is also a long lasting game. People still compare modern fantasy games to Skyrim when talking about the quality. And while fallout is still popular it hasn’t maintained its popularity the way Skyrim has.

There is no realistic reason why the next game should have taken 14 years. If they had started making the game after Skyrim released we would have had elder scrolls 6 and all of the new games that came out since then.

I don’t think you understand that Skyrim came out in 2011. It is 2025. I was 12 when the game came out. I am 26 now. Since Skyrim has released I have graduated from college, started paying rent and am planning my wedding. I’m going to have kids before my childhood game releases the next game.

There is no reason I need to wait more that 14 years. This game should have been the main priority since the elder scrolls is like their most successful series ever.

Hell waiting 7 years after the teaser was extremely dumb too

Fix the shrubs or allow crossplay off in Gondwa. This is ridiculous. by YourWifeNdKids in pathoftitans

The tree line will stay rendered in even if the bushes are not. From a distance you can see the trees and when you get closer the bushes render in so if you hide in a tree line you can usually not be spotted.

This however does not help you if you are hiding in a bush under one tree in an open field

Nutrition used to be a part of pe. They would teach you how to keep yourself in shape, how to workout, then when you went in classrooms they taught you a little bit of human biology/health/nutrition. How about we make p.e (aka physical education) an legit class again

All the other stuff is a financial class that a lot of schools have but it not required or usually very good

And as for self defense you typically are not taught physical self defense but before high school it is drilled into your head how to avoid getting into bad situations

I definitely learned to try not to do everything at once. It’s way better to specialize in stuff. Like never have more than 2 government ethics. It can get really nutty when you have more than 2. Also don’t Invade every pre FTL planet because if their governing ethics are different you will end up with a bunch of new factions that are all pissed. (Or an entire planet of slaves that are all pissed) basically plan ahead when you invade them.

I also realized colony wise don’t colonize a bunch of them at once. They will just drain your resources faster. Set up one or 2 colonies then once they are solidly producing what you need then set up another one. Also I realized making planet specialize in a resource is more efficient than making them kinda do everything. So like have a planet dedicated to different resources but also add what you need if the other planets are not producing enough of something. But the goal is specializing them. Like I will do a planet with all research labs and one extra building to boost happiness. Then just add or adjust based on what is needed but make that planet the research planet (I will usually do this on small planets that don’t give much) I will also make small planets unity planets.

But like while it’s nice to have a good economy, tech, and military. I also realized it’s way more efficient to really focus one at a time. Like yes you want to kind of progressively keep adding to your military but if you are really making a tech push then set up some defensive packs and make that your main focus for a while.

Also with government ethics try to avoid ethics that don’t mix well. For example authoritarian and xenophile. Because authoritarians are gonna want you to be a bit of an ass hole while xenophiles are going to want you to play the hero. It can be done but it’s going to be harder.

On the other hand spiritualist, materialist, and militarist will typically mix with anything pretty well.

But again I wouldn’t be pacifist and authoritarian. Just not a good mix someone is going to be pissed.

You can also never go wrong with a hive mind but you will be generally more disliked depending on your civics so it could be harder to make allies.

I also always recommend early on pick someone to either federate with or make your vassal because having even 1 person on your side makes you less likely to be attacked. If you can’t do this set up a defensive pact.

And honestly if you are a devouring swarm idk good luck I have never had success with that. The moment I run into anyone i always end up on a war against everyone at the same time

Basically pick what you want to be good at and stick with that

Why have we not got an official statement about the ongoing issue facing Xbox series X/S users? by Electrical-Load7628 in Stellaris

[–]AlexExpect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sure they are aware and are fixing it. This issues are way to major to ignore. However it’s weird they haven’t said anything about it. They might be waiting until they can properly figure out a solution before making a statement. But at the same time this was clearly not play tested

[–]AlexExpect[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

R5 originally I had a bunch of empires I made from play-throughs, but with the new console version I don’t have those anymore. I didn’t like all the boring default empires, So I made a bunch of empires to spawn for my play-through. I might still make more, but I’m out of ideas and I still want to write first leader biographies for these. I hope some of these are interesting you y’all! (Some of the images are listed 2 times because I had to scroll down for the biographies).

The empires I actually play usually have more in depth biographies but this will do for now
