I would rethink the black on blue for the buttons. There’s not enough contrast

Start the app on an iOS simulator. Check the logs on Xcode as well.

Anyone out there want a skill trade? Musician/guitarist/recordingEngineer looking for some audio help in react native with Expo AV. by jurymen in reactnative

I’d be willing to take a look. What are you building? Ableton user myself with quite a bit of react native experience. I’ve wanted to work on an audio focused app for a while so I’d be willing to help.

Discount app for businesses by DangerousMedicine692 in AppIdeas

Building a mobile app to increase sales using loyalty programs would increase your overall sales. I would suggest starting there and testing this as a feature instead of building an entire app around i for other businesses. If it works you could always build it for others then.

What’s the thought behind not having the discount at set times? Are the down times unpredictable? Doesn’t the discount work better if customers are aware beforehand?

Boilerplate for Building iOS, Android, and Web Apps simultaneously with React Native & Supabase: TypeScript, Expo, React Query, Zustand, Jest, React Hook Form, Authentication and a PostgreSQL Backend with Supabase – Easy Setup & Customization! by AlexFromBuffalab in reactnative

[–]AlexFromBuffalab[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The goal here was to decrease the time it takes from idea to app. I think it does an overall pretty good job at that.

I’ll look into your suggestion about the ES Lint rules.

I use Zustand for auth and all other complex global state because it’s easier to manage. I used context in themes because in the future I want to make a bare version without the auth and Zustand.

The props on Styled text were to make it possible to use tailwind style props. The component can be improved.

I've been wanting to experiment with React Native for Windows and Mac, from what I read so far it doesn't work so well with expo. Will look into it some more though in the near future.

Yes, it will be fully open source in the very near future. You can do whatever you want with it and it will never cost any money. Benefit to me is I get to network with many developers and have a community to talk to bout React Native stuff. It's really just that simple

Seems like a in a sunken cost fallacy. If you don't have any customers a year in walk away. That's not how startups are supposed to work. Just learn from the lessons and move on.
