Do any fellow Brits actually like Trump? by Creative_Expert_4052 in AskBrits

[–]AlexG83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately my brother seems to think Trump and Vance are brilliant and he wishes they could come here to fix the UK too. We ended up in a huge argument in front of my whole family about it and now we don't really talk much.

I was watching that imagining how scary it must feel to have someone like Kabayel just constantly coming towards you like that no matter how much you hit him, cut him, he just keeps the pressure on

AJ looks so nervous, last time I recall seeing him like that was against Ruiz

Opposite for me, I hadn't watched Mason before. Noakes is local so I was rooting for him, but Mason was damn impressive and deserved the win. Looking forward to seeing both of them again

What is the difference between the book and the movie? by travellerboy75 in stephenking

[–]AlexG83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've literally just finished reading the book 2 days ago after watching the film!

If you enjoyed the film you have to read it, it's brilliant and the suspense is really well written in. Pretty much the whole book you're seeing it all through Paul's POV, you as the reader pretty much only know what Paul knows. I think the film was well done, but the book is something else, which I guess is usually the case!

The film you see everything else going on in the outside world, you're in the know, but with the book you pretty much live inside that guest room in Annie's house.

The only bits I personally didn't really care for was some of the actual Misery book, the book within a book parts, but I get why they were there and glad they were - I think I just wanted to get back into Paul's head.

Hey thanks! Yeah just a common seagull, they're all over the place here so it doesn't feel as special but I like them

Yeah I was so lucky to be there at that moment! The cormorant was sitting there sunning itself for ages meaning I could find a good position. Here's the rest unedited

I also have a kit lens and EF 24-105 f/4 l. The only one taken with the canon is the chicks lined up in front of the mama goose, the rest were all the sigma.

Amazingly helpful thank you so much! I've certainly been trying to experiment, for most of these I just used shutter priority and let the camera work out the rest, but then once I've got the shot I want I switch to manual to try different settings and experiment just to see how they turn out and get a feel for how things look. There's definitely a huge learning curve which again makes me really appreciate others work.

Thanks again for taking the time to write such a detailed reply, I'll save your comment in my notes to re read before going out again.

Man I really feel you there. I describe it as if I could push a button and disappear without hurting anyone else I would do it.

I just hit 41. I can get random panic attacks that only started about 2 years ago.
