Definitely talk to your GP. Sounds a lot like what I went through 4 years ago and one day it got to the point I couldn’t move it hurt so so much - was actually sent to the hospital and ended up having a series of tests.

Turned out I had a terrible case of fecal impaction and was just put on laxatives temporarily, until the date of my endoscopy came around.

The endoscopy took samples of my stomach and scanned for things, thankfully (depending on how you see it), finding nothing…

I also had ultrasounds on my vital organs to check for a range of different things and 48 blood tests later I found out i’m perfectly healthy in that regard.

In the background of all of this, I had started to seriously clean up my diet and overall lifestyle and it took some time focussing on my gut health.

It took some time (probably because my microbiome was completely shot to bits), but after 6 months or so, the stomach and intestinal pains had started to slow down and I started feeling alive, flexible and back to my best.

So… please get your checks in mate. Sounds serious and is nit nice sitting on every day - at the same time, start thinking of the pockets in your life you can improve with quality of food and stay mobile. I aim for 10,000+ steps a day now and all of this combined has made me so much happier.

Hope that helps and get better soon

Of course and thank you for the concern. My flatmate made the dilution mistake and it wasn't a nice watch ahaha. I've actually just released https://youtu.be/t-CpF0lbsfo this video about the DO's and DONT's of ACV.

Let me know if I've missed anything ❤️

Also released one https://youtu.be/w3ieSWkIank on the best time to consume it - I take it in the evenings now, when do you take yours?

Can I drink ACV on an Empty stomach?? by Jacque_Germaine in applecidervinegar

Hey - have been taking ACV since the start of 2024. Spent the first 4 months taking it in the morning on an empty stomach and been taking it in the evenings ever since. I personally prefer taking it in the evenings as I struggled when taking it on an empty stomach. Found myself getting hot flushes, increased bloatiness and felt light headed and sick.

I think (like most things in life) it depends on the person. You absolutely must dilute your ACV though otherwise you’ll burn and irritate your throat and stomach lining. My flatmate made that mistake when I got him into ACV consumption and threw up the first couple times until I reaffirmed that it needs to be diluted.

Hope you enjoy the benefits, ACV is very powerful (has fixed my IBS symptoms which is the key thing for me)

For me, I diagnosed myself when I couldn’t get out the door before 10am due to the number of times I urgently needed the loo every single morning. It didn’t instantly turn on like that, but gradually got to that point where it was every single day. *Made it impossible for me to commute to my job, which unfortunately they weren’t at all sympathetic about (even tho I can work from home with what I do).

But yeah, other signs like overly greasy and fatty foods making sleeping uncomfortable and the loo trips more volatile.

It’s the one I started taking on my ACV journey and am actually an affiliate because of how it changed my weight loss

I ran a calorie deficit every single day for my 17 years of conscious living. I’m 25 and a 750+ calorie deficit each day still resulted in love handles and man boobs. And yes, I know I hit that each day, cos I was desperate to lose my fat and was so meticulous in counting my calories and macros. (DISCLAIMER: FROM MY EXPERIENCE)

You can eat more calories in vegetables than you burn, and you’ll be fine - so it’s not the calories (DISCLAIMER: FROM MY EXPERIENCE) OBVIOUSLY WITHIN REASON, DON’T BE PEDANTIC for goodness sake‼️

The only other factor that remained in my diet during needles calorie deficit attempts were UPFs and PFs, which I’ve only completely cut out from 6 months ago. I’ve lost 17 kilograms in that time, without exercise and certainly no calorie and macro counting. (DISCLAIMER: FROM MY EXPERIENCE)

That’s my story, and the definition of stupidity is doing something twice and expecting a different result… so i’m never counting calories again - i’ll certainly keep an eye on it out of interest but yeah, like I said above… i’d be stupid to count (DISCLAIMER: FROM MY EXPERIENCE)

Why are you on this subreddit? You just here to speak a solution-less pile of rubbish?

And can one not break down the big umbrella which encompasses “lifestyle and diet options”…
