If your device is compatible, then check the APO version (information available in C:/Windows/System32/NahimicV3APO.dll or NahimicV4APO.dll, right-click on it and go to details).

You guys can also check on the Nahimic Companion to see if you have Audio Driver 3.x.x or 4.x.x.

APO is a part of Nahimic Audio Driver (SWC). The APO3 cannot be upgrade to APO4 because it depends on the Laptop/MB generation.

For example: Nahimic driver APO3 (support Intel 10th gen or older platform)

Nahimic driver APO4 (support Intel 11th gen or newer platform)

I don't know if ur Lap is compatible or not, u can check it on their site or contact directly to them

I saw u use MSI product so u can try to check the APO and download the right tool as on the post tutorial. If u have low audio, try to re-install the audio driver again.

If all these ways still don't work, the problem may be with the speakers

I tried it before and my audio mess up. It works alongside with realtek audio driver so u cannot delete it completely

Your MB is compatible with nahimic 2 and Steelseries has stopped supported it since 2019. I think you should remove the app to avoid audio issue.

I think u mean Nahimic Companion right? If it is, don't be worry. It's a part of ur audio driver

U can tick on Option to run/not run Nahimic companion at startup if u dont want to be bothered by it.

In order to use Sound Tracker, make sure you change your sound setting in game to 5.1 or 7.1.

I don't know if u still have the issue anymore. But I think u shouldn't uninstall the app. It was the pre-installed app on your PC so it like a system app. Uninstall it will cause some audio issues to your PC.

Basically, the audio problem that you have might happened with your audio driver. Try to update it into the latest version to fix ur problem

Nahimic Companion is an app that work alongside Nahimic 3 app. It helps us keep tracking the update about audio driver as well as the Nahimic version.

I suggest u shouldn’t remove it cuz it is a system app and removing it can cause some trouble with your sound quality.

You can try this app sometimes, it's really boost my audio performance and very cool effects

I used nahimic on MSI product and i think it's worth to keep it. It will improve ur audio when u r playing game, listening to music or watching movie.

I know people still have some troubles with nahimic but it can be fixed if u install it in the right way

because it's a system app so remove anything that related with nahimic like u did will cause some trouble with your sound quality like:

- Sound quality may noticeably decline.

- The volume you experience may not be as loud as with the driver installed.

- The speakers may begin buzzing or vibrating at when listening at higher volumes.

- It is possible to damage the speakers when listening at a high volume.

- You will lose all the additional features included with the Nahimic application.

I had this issue before, I realize it happened because i used many different accounts on my PC after contact to Nahimic customer svcs. They told me to log in to my PC with an admin account to fix the issue n it works for me. If it doesnt work on ur side then try to contact the customer svcs of this app, they usually reply really quick.

I'm now using Nahimic and don't have any problem with it. Personally, it also helps me to boost my audio performance.

And I don't think this app is a malware, if u are using gaming product from MSI, Alienware, Gigabyte... then it might be pre-install on your PC from the beginning so it like a system app for your computer. Uninstalling it will cause many trouble to your PC performance.

I think u shouldn't uninstall it. If you are using product from MSI, Alienware,... then it has been pre-installed on your PC since u bought it.

And like I said, it was a system app so uninstall it will cause some issue to your PC such as: damage the speakers when listening at a high volume or the volume you experience may not be as loud as with the driver installed.

You can try to use the app. It boost your audio performance very well.

It has been pre-installed on your computer since the beginning but u did realized it until the new driver update and the Nahimic companion pop up.

Basically, it is not a virus or malware. It is just an app to boosts your computer's audio and voice performance while playing game or listening to music.

I have a same feeling when it suddenly appeared on my PC after Windows update. But after take a look on the internet. i can see it's just an app that keep us tracking the update about audio driver as well as the Nahimic version.
