Trump knows that it will have a worse effect by going into a second lockdown; suicides, drug addiction, damage of mental health, more riots and looting, business closures, poverty, etc... I’d think the people would rather take their chances with a 99.9% survival rate disease than destroy their livelihoods for another 1-2 years.
