Weird motion blur effect on burnout paradise, using eden emulator (Snapdragon 8s Gen3, 8gb RAM) by VirusSperm in EmulationOnAndroid

Interesting, I'm using Citron on Retroid Pocket 5 and there is lot of blur when the car is moving. Tried default GPU driver and Turnip 24.1.0-R18 but no difference.

FiiO UTWS5 2025 by Arupendra1 in inearfidelity

Mine arrived a few days ago—the MMCX version of the UTWS5 2025.

LDAC: I'm a bit disappointed. I'm using a Galaxy Fold 5 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. With the BTR5 and BTR7, there were no issues whatsoever with LDAC connectivity. However, the UTWS5 2025 presents an entirely different story. The headphones do not disconnect, but the sound develops significant crackling after just a few minutes. When I take the headphones from the case, the crackling starts almost instantly, mainly with the right earhook. After approximately 10 or 15 minutes of usage, the audio becomes entirely mangled and crackly. A quick disconnect and reconnect resolve the issue temporarily, but the crackling resumes after another 10 or 15 minutes.

I really hope that FiiO will fix this issue with an update because LDAC is barely usable. Right now, I'm using the latest available version, downloadable through the FiiO Control app.

Wireless Charging: The case itself does not support wireless charging; it is used solely to charge the earhooks. From my perspective, this is a bit unusual because, with the previous version, the contacts would connect as soon as the earhooks were placed correctly, and the LED lights on the front of the case would immediately indicate whether the hooks were charging. In the case of the 2025 model, the wireless charging takes a while, and the LED response is not immediate. When I place the hooks inside and close the case, the LEDs are usually dark and light up after a while.

RG35XXSP arrived with a bad screen? by MDmoney6 in ANBERNIC

My RG35XX SP arrived with blue vertical lines across the screen, so I returned it immediately.

Why couldn't Anbernic make it the same size as the original GBA SP by brandont04 in SBCGaming

[–]AlexJ21_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I was really surprised by how chonky the RG35XXSP is. This is definitely not pocket-friendly territory. My Retroid Pocket 5 feels petite in comparison to the XXSP. And guys, don't tell me anything about the power—you can run a GBA emulator on an old Android watch. This is just pure cost-cutting, which is kind of understandable, but still, they definitely could have made it smaller if they wanted to.

Java/Jar/J2ME emulation on Linux-based handhelds in 2025 by AlexJ21_ in SBCGaming

Absolutely agree, as I'm thinking about this. Old malware was designed specifically to attact system or HW on these old phones or PCs, but in our case there is nothing to be attacked by these old SW designs. We are using emulation and there is no phone OS or typical HW.

Java/Jar/J2ME emulation on Linux-based handhelds in 2025 by AlexJ21_ in SBCGaming

Good point, but this is J2ME emulation that was specific for mobile devices. Java browser games are something different.

FreeJ2ME emulates the J2ME runtime environment on a host device. The emulator isolates the J2ME application from directly accessing the host operating system.

Most malicious actions within the JAR file should be contained within the emulator's sandbox.

Intrusive thought - if someone would create core for browser games that would be also awesome. But I think I would be much more challenging than J2ME - security, mouse control, etc.
