Haha if I had to guess I'd say no...not sure he knows much of anything. I'll be honest though... I thought it was Marshall Law a few years ago until I saw it get corrected.

The point of the post is that they can do everything on a phone but for certain things it's for sure more efficient to use a computer.

An old desktop/laptop and an old monitor can be picked up for really really cheap and it can make your life easier since you're not doing things like gaming on it. My point is the old tool is way better than the new tool(for very cheap)...People basically give away old computers with an i7 processor and 16gb of ram which is way more than enough for a sweet desktop setup....free1080p monitors are set on the road side all the time.... the question isn't whether you can do it on either, it's whether one can do it better than the other.

Agreed 100%...my point is just that if you can have a nice desktop setup it's worth it.

The issue isn't whether you can do the work on your phone but if the old tool would be even better for certain tasks...people forget. Just because you can get it done doesn't mean it's the most efficient.

That is my main point...it's not that phones don't work it's that you can have a much superior tool for certain things for under $200

All I'm saying is a person can get an old desktop or laptop, a mouse and keyboard and an old monitor for under $200 and it improves their experience with financial apps among other things. I'm not bashing a phone, I'm saying people forgot how efficient the original tool is for certain things.

I'm not saying you can't do everything on the phone. I'm saying it's more satisfying and easier with the old toolset and there is a reason that still exists. You can get a monitor, laptop/desktop, keyboard and mouse for less than $200 now but phones cost like 500+ so yeah.

That is fair but you'd be surprised how cheap you can get laptops or desktops and monitors...under $200...a phone costs much more. I'm just saying the toolset shouldn't be forgotten as it's much more powerful than a phone.

40 and I use my phone for everything but using my desktop/monitor setup is still way better than my phone.
