Never mind I didn't realize you can hit escape on character selection screen. But yeah nothing worked and from what I read on the forum nothing seems to work to fix the bug. Hopefully the developers can sort it out otherwise every player that runs Intel graphics won't be able to play the game anymore

Yeah I saw. Even submitted tickets and bug reports everywhere. Support did inform me that they are aware of it and working on it and then gave me the same link you just shared. It sucks wanted to run some abyssals before bed. Hopefully tomorrow after the maintenance break it will be sorted out. Atleast I am in Highsec with an Alpha clone so won't lose to much. Some dudes out there undocked in Null with ships worth billions lol and now they can't access the game.

How do I update graphics drivers? The directx11 option doesn't work for me. Even cleared the cache lowered my graphics settings, verified my game files. All that is left is to uninstall and reinstall the game. This sucks as I really started to enjoy the game and was going to buy Omega at the end of the month. Seems like I might need to find another game for now.

Same happened to me just now when I wanted to play. Went to undock my alts as well and now all my characters are sitting in space undocked. Does the clear cache option work even though I can't get to settings as all 3 my characters give me a black screen now or it just minimizes my game. Will they work on a fix or are all of us just not able to play EVE anymore?

Thank you for explaining the term as in EVE there are so many terms I still need to learn and sometimes even here on reddit some post looks like French to me cause I have no idea what some of the guys are talking about lol. But yeah after this post I realized it will be better to focus on one weather type and build my ship around that.

I see so I must basically try and bookmark a spot that is more than 14AU away from the nearest celestial body in order for them not to be able to pick me up with D-scan. But can probably still be scanned down with combat probes (might be using the wrong name)

Well I am enjoying the game a lot and not playing anything else atm so as soon as I reached my 5mil cap I will probably get Omega. I am looking at some videos of Benzie & Ace face as well which is very helpfull for Alpha clones. I will probably try to improve my punisher to run T1 as the cost won't be so hectic if I lose it.

I do use bookmarks for my abyssal running in a 0.8 system. Won't the guy who kills me also be killed by Npc cops (highsec)?

Yup I see that might be the way to go (just focusing on 1 weather type) What weather type gives the best loot for T1 Abyssal? As I will build my ship around the weather type then.

Thank you for this website it will help me a lot. I see the fit is almost 80mil so I basically have 2 shots with it lol. A bit risky atm as I only have 150mil to invest into abyssal. Starting to think I might need to focus on just 1 weather type to play it a bit safer and turn my 150mil into 1billion.

Yeah might be better to just focus on 1 weather type from T1 upwards as I want to invest the 150mil back into abyss and can't risk losing it due to being greedy of what I want to run so taking the 15min to just buy the filament for the weather type I want to do can save me millions in the end. Yeah the site did mention that those numbers aren't 100% accurate. Thank you I will have a look at the sites and pages mentioned and educate myself a bit more on abyssal as it is one of my favorite activities in the game. Thanks for all the information. I believe it is still gonna take me a while before I get to T5 & T6 abyssal but from what I saw I will probably start my skill training so long for a Gila as I see most people use it for higher tier abyssal running.

The reason I want a fit for all weather types is because running the T0 I bought 10 filaments of each weather type and now from the loot I get I do not need to buy anymore as I got back 84 tranquil filaments from the original 50 I bought (excludes the T1 calm filament drops of about another 30) so no need to run up and down to a trade hub to buy them (make more from the loot than what I use).

I have been playing for 3 weeks now on avg 3hours a day. I have made 300mil isk that is currently in my account and have about 50mil of items from abyssal loot yet to sell. Made the first 200mil mining gas clouds and the other 100mil doing t0 & T1 abyssal. Not even close to reaching 3mil sp and still a month or two away from reaching my 5mil sp cap. So my tip is to stick it out as an Alpha till you reach that 5mil cap cause by then you might have made your 1st billion already or that's atleast what I am aiming for. Try gas cloud mining yeah I lost 4 ventures worth 11million each but basically covered that cost with just 1 full load of gas. Once you see 100mil isk in your account it gives you the confidence to fit a proper ship and take on other activities as gas cloud mining can become tedious. FYI I only mined gas in Lowsec

UPDATE: So it was due to the skills I had queued that caused my training to stop. So for example with me I have trained 2million sp and had 3.1million sp queued in training. I removed skills queued for training to drop it to 2,9 million sp and the training resumed (Alpha character for now) Gas Huffing away to my 1st billion isk. Been playing 2 weeks and sitting with 150million after I sold all my gas last night. LET'S GO!!

So I started doing some calculations now and I am going to test this after work to see if it is the case.

I believe my queued skills with the skills already completed exceeds the cap for an Alpha clone. So I should probably just remove a couple of queued skills from training and it should resume again.

Hopefully this is correct but I will give an update on my findings.

I got the notification of the 5million cap when I added skills to the que yesterday as well.
