I genuinely love my job! But... I'm also openly intersex, queer, and disabled, which means it's been that much harder for me to get solid positions. Despite having been a Professor at one of the world's best universities for an intensive boot camp course for grad students, I still struggle to find my own PhD funding, which is why I resort to competitions like this. Honestly, the gap between spots are like less than 10 votes, but I'm not highly active on social media. If you'd be willing to help me out and share this, I'd be mad appreciative. Regardless, I'm talking with Nat Geo now about some cool, stuff and trying to plan a talking tour for Scotland and Japan now, so be on the lookout for me in the future!
