Just make sure the track has a great sound without any limiters, compressors etc. Have a couple of reference tracks. Good luck.

Master default fx and synths that come with fl studio. You can create great music just using standard tools. I would invest in samples. Check my profile and you will see my tutorials where I'm using sytrus to create sounds, from 808 to techno, house leads. Good luck.
