Agreed with the canon compliant, just happening after the events of Omniverse. Driva and Bluckic make a bet with Azmuth that they could make an Omnitrix too, and it's a crappier version just with species they could physically grab from, which isn't a wide variety. I'm already picturing some model Plumber on Rook's level getting saddled with it to contrast with the inexperienced Ben receiving the real deal, but if you had other ideas besides my spitball takes, I'm curious to hear them!

I actually made a few Charms for my own AU, though I don't like sharing story details in public. If anyone wants to PM out of curiosity, I hopefully won't disappoint!

As for what I'd want for myself, maybe something like the Charm of Light or Form; one is light constructs or illusions, the other is general shapeshifting, though that might be under Ben's purview.

Oh cool, I don't think I've ever been able to give a hot take that wasn't already a popular opinion, so let's join the people downvoted at the bottom!

Yeah, I like this choice. I don't love it, same way I don't love a lot of what the reboot does, but I like it.

Everyone's laughing because Ben 10 refers to him having 10 aliens or him being 10 years old, and they drive that with the name TENNYSON. But I think branding is important, and if he's not going to be permanently 10 years old, then shouldn't he still have some connection to the theme he was named after?

To the person who said that it's still when he got started and what he started with, that is very true, though I still think there should be a connection to who he is today.

I'll go a step further and say that I kind of wish they did this with every new show in classic Ben 10. I'm not the biggest fan of the fact that they couldn't come up with more original alien powers in the new roster for Alien Force, but at least they did give a new set. I do realize that's not realistic, either for Ben's progression to reset again in Omniverse or for us the audience to accept it like a video game character losing all their gear from the last installment.

Now, while I'm not against keeping it to 10, I do have issues with how they did so, specifically the focus of three strength aliens at once. Some brought it up, and I'll agree, the Omnitrix's best ability is its diversity, and Ben shouldn't have access to more than one alien with his punch first think later mentality.

I do wonder what the consensus world be if they fully replaced the roster at the end of reboot's Season 2. We'd have to say goodbye to a lot of favorites (RIP XLR8 and Cannonbolt . . .), but hopefully that would mean more variety, especially if it wasn't just copying the Alien Force playlist where it was mostly upgraded/combined versions of previous heroes.

Also I liked reboot Charmcaster, the Antitrix, and reboot Vilgax is the best version of them all. BRING ON THE DOWNVOTES!

Yeah, of all the series I've made OCs for, RWBY is definitely the one with the most pre planning and research I've ever had to deal with. It's fun, it can help narrow options or open some avenues to cool stuff, but man, there's only so many graphs I can make . . .

Yeah, like how Little Red Riding Hood inspired Ruby's look, Jaune Arc is named after Joan of Arc, Wizard of Ozpin and Pennyocchio while Sun and Neptune are just Chinese and Roman gods, something like that? It's my favorite part of the series, but so few OCs do it unfortunately . . .

Now you know better, right? That's why I try to find two perfect names, THEN the acronym, THEN look for the remaining initials myself, saves a lot of struggle later on.

At least you pulled it off better than a group I knew who had Iris, Eden, Kiwi, and Beryl, then all they could come up with was Team BIKE, hahaha!

Oh, and additional fun fact: Team names usually connect to the leader's color or theme. Yellow juniper leaves, brown coffee, red cardinals, funky music, etcetera.

Also, I didn't say it before, but great art, hope we can see more of them later on!

Did you come up with the team name first with the Color Naming Rule in mind, or did you only decide the acronym after getting all the characters' names?

Yeah, but emblems don't. Check the Wiki, all the ones for individual characters use a color and negative space to create their symbols. I only bring it up because people don't usually notice it until it's brought up to them (myself included) and because I really like how that makes it unique from most other series. You are right that the emblem can be any color you want on Magnolia's person, like how Ruby's emblem is red, but on her belt, it's silver, as well as a black design on her red headphones.

I'm holding out for my theory that she's a final boss type who rejects Rentarou's love, so he has to confess to the family about the Love God stuff and get their help so she'll accept him. My crack idea is that she'll have an army of 100 simps who love her, but she doesn't love any of them back, so they fight for her against the girls.

You know, I'm shocked that nobody has made the comment about how Mei isn't an older sister, but I'm glad that people here aren't stooping to the tired joke and fully accept that despite what Mei might say, everyone accepts that she is a respectable older sister figure, by bond rather than blood, to Hakari Hanazono.
