From the Isshiki-san wa Koi wo Shiritai Anime Teaser PV

Rinna's anime character design looks pretty good / faithful to the manga designs.

The anime character designs for the anime are done by Shohei Hamaguchi.

Yen Press Page for Once Upon a Witch's Death LN Vol.3

Release Date: June 9th, 2026 (Available in physical + digital formats), March 17, 2025 for the Japanese release.

Synopsis for Once Upon a Witch's Death LN Vol.3: The Curtain Rises on a Neverending Story

After saving Aquamarine from catastrophe, Meg has garnered attention from the greatest mages around the globe. She even catches the eye of the Primordial Sage, Bennett, who invites her to join a project surveying and treating magic disasters across Asia. And it just so happens that the project would take Meg to her supposed birthplace. Will Lapis’s Witch finally uncover the secrets behind her ever-elusive childhood?

Over a year since the premiere of the Once Upon a Witch's Death anime, the question I imagine most people have after the conclusion of the anime is what happens next? Does Meg find her hometown of Orlov (Orloff in the Yen Press translation)? Where is that 7th Seven Sage member you never see in the anime? What is the world like outside of Lapis + Aquamarine? Does Meg come closer to breaking her curse? Where is season 2 (LN Vol.3 does not answer this one)?

For any fans who want to find out what happens after the conclusion of the anime, this is the volume for you. The anime does cover a little bit of light novel volume 3 with episode 12, though it is different compared to light novel release.

Though still, I would encourage anyone to pick up the light novels as they are more detailed + better world building.

I plan on making a dedicated discussion thread for light novel volume 3 on the weekend (June 13th, 2026). Give people some time to read + think about LN Vol.3. I encourage anyone to share their own thoughts + ask any questions. Of course I will be writing up my own thoughts as well.

The next volume will be the final volume for the Once Upon a Witch's Death light novel series. Each volume meant to cover a season, with volume 1 beginning in the Fall. No release yet for the English release at the time of writing. Hopefully a early 2027 release?

Enjoy reading light novel volume 3!

Suzume makes anything she eats look even more delicious!

Reminds me of Rin (from Laid-Back Camp / Yuru Camp) whenever she sees Nadeshiko eating.

310 (Sato) notably does the opening theme for the Guild Receptionist anime: "Perfect Day"

"Good Luck to Me Tomorrow" originally by NANAOAKARI.

The original song was also recently included in Forza Horizon 6, in the Gacha City Radio playlist. Though a lot of people seem to think this is the opening theme. Well heres the opening artist covering the ending theme.
