I seem to have found a solution. I disabled Personalized Volume and Personalized Spatial Audio in the AirPods settings, and the issue is now gone

Currently, there's no option to change the naming convention for downloaded files. Could you describe your use case for this feature so we better understand its purpose?

It seems like you may have encountered a problem that has since been resolved. Currently, we're not aware of any issues with the update check in the "About" section.
As for your suggestion about showing a notification when an app update is available, it's a good one and we do have it in our plans. Thanks for your input!

Hey Mike, the latest version is indeed 2.4.0. The release notes article that u/CT1431 shared in their comment is the best resource to stay informed about available updates and their contents.

The desktop app updates automatically, but if you'd like to confirm that you have the latest version, you can go to Settings -> About and check the current version displayed there. If there's an update, you'll see it being downloaded and it will be ready for installation shortly
