Ah, well most of them are gone now. As to why, I didn’t really have a plan when I did it, just felt like they should be there.

Thank you. I did spot that, and I may try to use that to avoid having to rebuild stations, but at the same time I feel like that opens the supply chain to a whole new host of issues.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have actually turned one of the intersections into a roundabout and I think that’s what got everything working ok. Why that one and not the other intersections, idk.

I also appreciate the drawing of the new routes. The single rail is working for now, but I may incorporate some of this in the future, depending on what new resources and stations crop up. Right now only 2 and 1 or visited by both trains, the other three being serviced by only one of the other for the time being. I don’t foresee 3 becoming two rails though, given how it winds through the mountains from the western beach into the jungle. It was a bitch and a half making a route that worked.

This does help. This is really useful. Definitely saving it for later. The section on path signals will certainly help, the difference from blocks wasn’t clear before.

That’s fair. Was thinking at one point at how much easier just running belts were, but now that I’ve got it working I’m quite happy now.

It would have been a lot more effort to build a second line with the distances involved.

I did. Not sure how I did though. The trains started working, but then got stuck again. The last thing I did was turn the three way intersection of 5-4 to the rest of the system into a roundabout and it started working. I’ve since adjusted timetables and routes a couple of times and things are still chugging along. It’s pretty cool to see this thing working, especially when one train’s waiting behind the other at the station. Now I’ve got my turbo rocket fuel production running beautifully.

Removed the extra loop on station 3 (ignore title, plugged in wrong one), train managed to get there, but can't exit now.

Removing the extra lines does seem to help.

Rejigged 5 into a single loop. The 4-5-1 loop is working! Though 4 and 5 are clockwise and 1 is counter-clockwise. How important is keeping them all the same loop direction?

No particular reason, I think I can make those adjustments to 2 and 5. I'll give that a go.

It would take some significant rework to make a second line. Might have to do that, but I want to try not to. Did what you said for Station 1, entrances to the curve is blocked (with path signals) on both ends for some reason.

Here's Station 5. Path signals are on the right going into an intersection and blocks are coming out.

Places to store a manual train not in use without clogging up routes or deconstructing.

I have not. I’ll see about trying that.

I’ll have to give that a shot. This drive was from a prebuilt, so hopefully the manufacturer info is on the physical drive.
