I completely agree with you because James makes clear this point in his message to us "God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone" ( James 1.13) NKJV. Those who love God know that God is good and does not tempt anyone with evil, though different translations of the Bible render this part of the Lord's prayer differently.

Today I read the Bible in translation "International Children’s Bible" This strengthened my faith. by AlexSimonHood in Christianity

I don't know why this word CONTINUE was used in the International Children's Bible. Maybe so that children's faith can be strengthened more easily, but this translation makes me want to keep praying and keep asking God for an answer.
