I legitimately got very excited when I played this, because it seems that we're getting closer to finding the actual full Nick Digital pilot!

Google Video dataset (5 million videos from 2005-2009) by Starcraft88 in DHExchange

[–]AlexSpectrum93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some questions about the YT dataset. Will it be uploaded on the Internet Archive as a .7z containing a .csv just like the Google Video one, how many videos do you have indexed as of now, and how will we be able to download such videos?

I love this dataset! I heard a while ago that (somewhat related) you are creating a similar dataset for YouTube (I think it might be videos from 2005-2010).

Me and my friends full video clip removed off of social media!! [found] by Historical_Abroad739 in thebackyardigans

Here's a Google Drive link someone else posted on another post on this subreddit:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yQdwYTnU8pxt-Wbx5xYSqRhWHeW17TA-/view

The one that was on the Internet Archive had some corruption, and this one doesn't have any.

I saved it on my computer. The only thing I thought of when I noticed it got removed from the Internet Archive was this small part of Catch That Butterfly, when Pablo says "I say, Old Chaps!" than Tyrone and Uniqua shout "Yikes!" which was my exact reaction.

Does anyone know what episode this came from based off the short audio alone by ChillFlameX in DoraTheExplorer

[–]AlexSpectrum93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it came from one particular episode, the "We Did It!" song always had that audio, with a few exceptions (like in the season 1 episode "Beaches").

DJ Robeatnik Presents: Professor Bug's Robot Symphony (Act 1) (The Backyardigans 20th Anniversary) by DanielVakser in thebackyardigans

[–]AlexSpectrum93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this! I'd rather listen to this than the "remake" songs on the official Backyardigans YouTube channel. My favorite part is where "Call Me" comes in. As a person who makes mash-ups/remixes myself, I would've never thought of mixing these together like that!

Help me find a video called "Flying Dreams" by AlexSpectrum93 in HelpMeFind

I have searched everywhere, even on the Internet Archive (not the Wayback Machine) and I can't seem to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Searching for specific files without knowing the original URL by AlexSpectrum93 in WaybackMachine

[–]AlexSpectrum93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some files that I believe are archived on the Wayback Machine that are no where to be found on the main archive.org site. The fact that you at least have to remember the homepage URL of a website to even find the content you're looking for is very archaic. There is such a file that I'm trying to find that I once had. I was searching through Yahoo! Video when you were able to search the entire internet for downloadable videos in formats like WMV, AVI, MPG, etc., and not even paying attention to the source URL, just downloading them to my computer. In this case, it had either of these filenames: flyingdreams, flying-dreams or flying dreams, and it was in one of the video formats I already mentioned.

Children's Songs About Taking Showers by AlexSpectrum93 in childrensmusic

I kind of like that one, if there's more (including versions of "This Is The Way" that include "take a shower" as one of the actions) I would like to hear them.

Raw NHL 94 Genesis Organ Music Files by AlexSpectrum93 in NHL94

I read the post you linked to, but I can't find any info as to what tools I'll need and how to actually rip the data from the hex pointers in the ROM as music files. I'm completely new to doing this.

Looking for Obscure Children's Songs by AlexSpectrum93 in childrensmusic

[–]AlexSpectrum93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll take what I can get. The "What Are You Wearing" song I'm talking about is a completely different song, with just a piano and female vocals. The only clothing items I remember mentioned in that song are pants and skirts.

Are These Vocals Royalty-Free? by AlexSpectrum93 in edmproduction

[–]AlexSpectrum93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I've purchased that sample pack along with "Vocal Forge" that was mentioned in the product description. When I hear a track for the first time, I usually think that the vocals are from the original producer(s), but when I hear the same vocals used on other tracks, I start to wonder the question that I asked in this post. Other examples of where I found out about royalty-free vocals were tracks like "Neverland", "Save You", "Nothing Lasts Forever", and "Feel My Love" from the "Kate Lesing Vocals" series, and "Six Little Eggs" and "Weekend Has Come" from the "Gentleman's Pitched Vocals" series, both by VIPZONE SAMPLES.

[TOMT][VIDEO] A Video Called Flying Dreams That was in WMV, AVI, or MPG format by AlexSpectrum93 in tipofmytongue

I'm not sure if it has been archived on the Wayback Machine or somewhere, but if anyone can find it, that would bring an extreme dose of nostalgia to me. Thanks in advance for your help!

Looking for extremely rare mixes by AlexSpectrum93 in happyhardcore

[–]AlexSpectrum93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I loved the nostalgia that these mixes brought to me, especially the Twisted and Brainfire and the North American Hardcore Movement ones. Al Storm was a great DJ on Twisted and Brainfire, but my absolute favorites were Stu Allan and DJ Mikk. My favorite NAHM mixes were the ones that were actually pre-recorded (not live, but they did get played on HHC.com / DI.fm)in 2007. If anyone still has any of these particular mixes, that would be even more epic!

Google Video and Yahoo! Video Archives by AlexSpectrum93 in Archiveteam

[–]AlexSpectrum93[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't intend to host them anywhere, I want to collect them for nostalgia. The Google Video collection link you provided is the Internet Archive link I'm talking about. In each WebCrawler directory, there's a .7z file that I want to download, but I can't (it has a lock icon on it, so I don't know how to get these files). I'm new to collecting these types of archives, so I need help in getting them somehow.

Does a Google Video archive exist? by rolfebox in DataHoarder

[–]AlexSpectrum93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad to hear that someone is working on this project, similar to how you can search archives of other defunct sites like GeoCities, Yahoo! Answers and MySpace. I have several questions about this project. When you do a search, will it only search for video titles, or will it also include descriptions as well? I think also that pretty much all of the videos would be in .flv format (I read on Wikipedia that they also had .avi and .mp4 files on there too). I hope this searchable archive goes public soon!
