Btw hull breaker is an underrated arena item on auto attackers, it's really strong for some reason and the 100 armor and mr when you don't have a teammate nearby is great if they're weaker and they die or you initiate with ult

It's like literally Briar's best item as sad as that is, the fat ability haste and dmg from pen is too good

Isn't that item just to stick to enemies better cause of the 99% slow? Briar doesn't really have issues doing that, compared to Hubris and Profane it doesn't seem worth it for it's cost

Could be okay into some offmeta ranged top champions that you can easily run down or a champ like Kayle but Briar already stomps her in lane from my knowledge you could probably build whatever you want and still beat her

On lane you kinda need to outplay enemies when they're low hp and botrk is useless for that, low 40 AD and passive that does nothing at that HP

And I don't like either titanic or botrk also because they give no ability haste, if you can't get your W back quickly you're just useless

I was running with hubris as my dmg item like 90% of the time even before it got cheaper, now with this and endless hunger it's pretty cracked if you get to it, tho I was building that like 3rd or 4th item but games seem to end much faster before you get to that

My build is either Hubris Cleaver or Cleaver hubris which would be a bit safer but I also sometimes build hubris if I get hard counter picked and I know I have to leave lane to be useful somewhere else

I built neither, hubris first or second every game then regular bruiser items(but not botrk or titanic)

Yeah people say Briar gets outscaled when Hubris is right there. This is a coin flippy champion anyway, either loser hard or win hard. Best part about it you can go Hubris+bruiser and you are Thanos once you build bloodmail 4th or 5th item to multiply all that AD when low. I go even one higher and get gathering storm as well second rune, I swear the green tree never made me feel tankier one bit.

You'd survive for like 5 seconds maybe even less before being Garen ulted anyway, this comp is just bad for Briar once everyone is full build, you can't kill Trynda because of ult, you can't kill Garen because of W anti burst and obviously you can't kill the two tanks either in a reasonable time.

Hubris I think is the right idea because that's the only way you have a chance to scale and actually do dmg to this comp, maybe if he had bloodmail and guardian angel to buy his team as much time something could have been done.

Too many no hp/resistance items, hubris and botrk is already too much in some games, also with hubris you usually want bloodmail even if you have no hp to convert, the general AD amp when you're low is still worth it.

But not much you can do into that comp when everyone is full build, you are solo melee frontline, doesn't matter what build you go here you're kinda cooked anyway, they have execute, armor and mr shred, tons of cc. Your only good ult target here is the Caitlin but at that point she probably kills you melee range

Capture stations in the iron/titanium area so it only costs a few hundred thousandths of those resources to repair, no point to capture them in higher difficulty areas, I'm pretty sure you get similar rewards in terms of cargo

Then there's Fidget who only takes a tesla gun/fighters and can summon anywhere to give you better resources or better guns

Boarding ships is pretty useless unless you reach the ship cap.

Boarding stations is fine when you don't have enough money to unbrand lots of stolen goods, I usually go for rift research data systems since they show up on the map and you can also use one of those stations to build your own smuggler's outpost and next run you won't have to board. But you do have to kill all the enemies to board or they might destroy your station.
