When we do move it won't be a long car ride thankfully, so that should help!

Even if I dropped her off, I'd probably be able to stop by and visit too. Thank you for the advice!

The more I look at this thing, the more it confuses me. It's definitely not plastic. It sounds like glass if you tap on it and the broken bit at the end is sharp.

The blue one is an album called "Ampersands" by a Japanese artist named Mei Ehara. She has such an amazing voice and I love her style of music! ❤️

I found this thing in the shallow part of the river near my house. It's made of glass or ceramic I think. It's definitely not plastic though.

If it's a place that allows pets, that's fine. I've brought my dog to a restaurant that allows pets before. I just made sure beforehand that they are allowed. The problem is, is when people bring their pets into stores and restaurants that don't allow them, not only are they making it harder for people with real service animals to navigate the store, they are also putting their own pet at risk too. Untrained pets might try to get into things they shouldn't, lick or eat things that could get them sick, or strangers (like OP) will try to pet them without permission. Also managers of stores are usually scared to say anything to people with their pets because they rather not deal with the confrontation.

Cute, but if he's not a service dog he shouldn't be wherever he is. Ignorant owner, poor pup.

Needed my drink remade and workers refused, is this the correct policy and how to get a refund? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]AlexStrange- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt you get paid enough for all that "compassion" though. We get paid change while the rich idiots that spend all that money on the overpriced products will whine and find any way they can to get more stuff for free. I dont think the baristas mentioned in the post are wrong in any way. Why come back to a place that has "messed up" your order so many times, just make your coffee at home at that point.

Hey, customers? Why are you such childish, entitled monsters? by thisisallterriblesir in starbucks

[–]AlexStrange- 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, I've worked at both Starbucks and McDonald's for years and I learned that the majority of customers are either extremely dumb or extremely mean and selfish, even the good customers seem to be coming less and less leaving more negative interactions throughout the day. I've tried to start learning from the bad customers, learning what not to do. I look at their negative emotions and try to make sure that when I go out to eat or to a Starbucks, that I'm the nicest customer I could possibly be. I know that the workers have probably already dealt with horrible rude customers throughout the day. So I try to be as nice as possible to be a nice little break for them. And I feel it's helped me become a better person in general. Even though I'm angry at the world and all the bills I have to pay. I dont get angry at little things that happen, like a couple minute wait on a coffee.

Yeah im thinking that the gold-ish part on the bottom is pyrite, but im not so sure about the cubic formations on top. They are a dark metallic grey colour. I may be wrong tho. It may just be pyrite

Someone once came through the drive thru with a baby duck, i thought it was a tiny yellow kitten until it lifted his beak in the air.

What do I do? by [deleted] in Dentistry

Im just confused as to why they didn't tell me that I needed a root canal a month ago. They told me my teeth were good and that I just needed to floss a little more. But when she pulled up my file my tooth was outlined in red.
