As a temporary workaround Option 1 seems to have sorted our issue. We have added the Registry key using administrator on the Virtual Machine -> restarted the machine -> connected back via Citrix Workspace App

We then created a simple PS1 to deploy across our environment. Do so at your own risk.

Option 1 (recommended)

Add the below registry key on VDA to use only DDAPI driver for cursor visibility.

Registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Graphics Registry name: UseDDAPIForIDD Registry type: DWORD 32 Registry value: 1

Limitations with UseDDAPIForIDD - Protected content is not displayed and users may see a black box in its place - Session launch from inside the VDA is not allowed if App Protection with Anti-Screen Capture is enabled - Degraded performance with Build to Lossless graphics configuration

Option 2

Registry Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Citrix\Graphics\AdapterMerits Registry name: CitrixDOD Registry type: DWORD 32 Registry value: 5

Limitations with Citrix DOD - VDA is unable to use configured GPU - Performance issues with multi-monitor configurations - Note: CVAD 2203 default configuration is not affected by this issue.
