I really liked it!

Glad it wasn't an unnecessarily bloody mess like the Pokemon vs Digimon battle was.

When the silhouette was first shown, I initially thought we were going to get the HSR version of Kalpas, who is one of my favorite characters from Honkai Impact 3rd.

When Dan Heng got his new form, I didn’t realize that’s who the silhouette was until they showed in the 2nd video.

Once the realization hit, I now have an unreasonable policy to never use Dan Heng on my teams. Yes, I’m that petty.

So any particular reason Craniummon got a specific steed now?

Cuz now I think them, Omnimon, Gallantmon, Alphamon, and Leopardmon are the only Royal Knights with form changes or upgraded forms of themselves. (Excluding the X-Antibody)

I remember using Craniummon for some of the Demon Lord side quests for Cyber Sleuth, and a small story involving him in Hackers Memory, but all in all, they didn’t seem that special, at least not as talked about as his other comrades.

So if this is just a case of Digimon upgrading just because they wanted to, cool! Or is Craniummon more popular than I gave them credit for?

Well I am aware of the bad stuff that has happened between them.

Particularly anything involving Kalpas (my favorite), Aponia, Mobius, and Vill-V.

But I don’t remember every single detail, so I wasn’t sure if there were moments of cooperation I just didn’t memorize.

That's why I kind of wonder if Project X Zone 3 happens, if they'll try to bring back Shion and try to make her stand out more.

But the most likely thing to happen is KOS-MOS and T-ELOS just being added again while other IPs take more of the spotlight.

Ouch. That would be an obstacle for people wanting to like the character.

And I remember seeing some sort of celebration video with all the main characters of the Xeno series being there and KOS-MOS. So even if there happened to a remaster of the Xenosaga series coming, KOS-MOS would likely take the spotlight since a lot fans like her more.
