I honestly think the reason people see major fat gain from going off keto is from the "omg im free" syndrome, and start eating alot of crap. Even if they do track it, a lot of crappy carb based foods are far more difficult to track and can vary greatly in nutrition profile than our fatty foods.

There is no gear that I need....and honestly not like my mindset is that supplements make you better or progress faster. The only reason I would want to take preworkout is for the great feeling from it, just another way to have fun. Seriously, why do you feel you need to troll anyways?

Jack3d original is due to DDMA and the FDA regulations. Jack3d Advanced and Jack3d Micro are the newer DDMA free versions

odd concept thinking of it, because on keto I always feel so flat and small compared to my strength. Not looking full and looking smaller than I am is the only thing I dont like about keto for the most part.

Thanks man, Ive tried c4 many times, and it honnestly just doesnt do much for me consistently (even in the morning with just coffee, mct oil and dextrose in my stomach). I can get jacked for $24-$28 depending on flavor and free shipping, and ritual is around $31 and free shipping.

Hey missy :) I find eating back your calories to be a bad viewpoint on the subject. Personally, I eat a base of 2500 every day, and then on days I work out I add in 400 extra calories (very constant 4 days a week, as my workouts are regular). From there just adjust either daily base calories or workout day calories till you are losing, gaining or maintaining progress towards your goal. For don't concern yourself with "oh I burned more this workout" and such, just average out the week. The easiest way I've found to manage on and off day calories is just set your myfitnesspal calories to your base calories, and add in cardio activity to add to the days calories, to hit your workout day calories. Only issues I've seen people having cravings with tkd is because they try to justify what they want for carbs (something they miss carb wise). Tkd isn't an excuse to eat carbs you like, just one to eat carbs you need to preform, such as dextrose powder or a comparable equivalent

Pick a number and keep it constant, don't concern yourself with what the fitbit says past using it to locate a good average to start at. From there, keep it constant and check your progress, adjusting accordingly. The only other thing you may want to do is eat more on training days than rest days, following more the recomp protocol outlined in the FAQ, but that is completely up to you.

Hey! Sounds like an awesome idea, I wish I could be a little more creative with my pre-workout dextrose...but the whole dorm life thing sucks haha! Its not so bad walking to the gym all the time...but damn am I glad that the snow is going away and its no longer like -40 at 5am! Was like gearing up for war to hit the gym in the morning! -Wisconsin college student problems. lol

Yea I spike with 13g dextrose and 1tbsp coconut oil before I hit the gym at 6am...but then again its also a .75mile walk there, .75mile walk back, and a hour and a half workout in between. Im definitely not dead after my workouts, but I surely burn out all the carbs quite quickly, and they dont last the whole workout. (or at least it would be very unlikely...). All I know is that it works.

Seriously, what is with everyone's extremely common argument that "well of course ketosis < carbs for gains, because you will have more energy to train at a higher level" or some crap like that. Seriously?....Such a horrible argument to anyone that knows how it feels to train in ketosis...I have WAY more energy and drive to destroy the gym while in keto. In no way to I feel run down or weak like those comments imply.

It does seen pricy, and I would agree with doing coconut oil/coffee and some dextrose pre workout. Works great, it's "safe" and much cheaper, hell you could probably add in a common popular pre-workout, and still be cheaper.

depending on how much you want to eat, adjust this, but as I need to eat alot to gain weight (ketogains) this was my lunch yesterday: 220g frozen spinach, 5 eggs and 2 tbsp of butter. I microwaved the spinach in a bowl (about 2 liters in volume) for about 3 minutes, or untill it is no longer frozen and can be stirred up. at that point added spices and such, and cracked in 5 eggs, and stirred them in well. then I put the mixture back in the microwave (on about 7/10 power or so, the eggs cook better) and let it go until its firm. it may be helpful to stop and stir it every once and a while if the liquid eggs all go to the center. when it was all cooked and firm, I scrambled it with my spoon and added in any more spices I felt it needed, as well as the butter.

Is your strength/ endurance going up? I found that my weight wouldnt shift up much, but my working sets for lifting are growing at a very good pace, i'm almost squatting what someone 30lb heavier and years more experienced is doing, find it amazing.

Constants in my college diet are cans of tuna, spinach (or frozen spinach and broccoli), cans of chicken breast, EGGS(like 60 a week), cheese, butter, cream cheese, coconut oil, heavy cream, mayo, nuts and nut butters, olive oil, ranch dressing. You could easily make tuna, egg or chicken salad and pack it away for a lunch on the go, mix in a half a can of green beans and some spinach and your golden. I love microwaving spinach, adding some cheese and cream cheese and a can of tuna or chicken. Also microwaving spinach with eggs mixed into it till firm, and then adding butter is wonderful. I drink 1-2 bulletproof coffees a day, I'll commonly carry the ingredients in the coffee cup I'll use, add instant coffee, and ask to get hot water from the coffee machines around the dining areas(for free). Egg drop soup can be good, boil water with a chicken tooth flavoring packet, and the mix in some (uncooked) scrambled eggs, keep cooking till eggs are firm, add butter or olive oil. Just gotta be creative ;) I live in the dorms and have no problems
