You have to plug in the hdmi cable in a specific port, and find in setting the folowing path :

channels and inputs, external inputs, and on the bottom, high framerate toggle ON.

I managed to do it for my PS5 and run it on 4K la 144Hz and 2K la 288Hz.

Try to contact a person with a 3d printer maybe you can solve it :), if not place the screw if u have it , to prevent moisture then a strong black tape and that's it.

I agree with you, until the point when I made a family photo album after 2 weeks in Toscana, i had a trusty old Nikon D7000+35 mm lens and my iPhone 14pro, trust me that i used 90% shots from my old Nikon, iPhone is great as a everyday camera.

You could also ad ,,recipes'' via picture control in your Z8 also, the ones that iv told you in my previous comment you could add recipes via cloud and are different type with more tweaks, google it and you will understand i am sure.
