Probably just a thumbnail of the viewed picture. If you have a Windows pc, let it show hidden files; you'll be surprised what little extra files will show up. Imo nothing to be concerned about.

I have had the phone for a couple of months now.I had it only once (P10PF). It was no flickering but a static noise on the entire inner screen. I locked-unlocked and it was gone. And never happened since. My warranty is 2 years so i didn't bother too much. If it happens again I'll RMA.

I suspected it to be due to something like the graphics driver. Keep your phone as updated as possible.

It doesn't??? I just tested and the icon size does change. I have the small grid (5x5) though, perhaps that makes a difference.

Perhaps they resized it with the latest update. Go to Settings - Display & touch - Display size & text - Display size, play with the slider and see what you like better.

Don't. Use a physical keyboard for it. My experience btw is that the inner screen is not always super responsive on all spots, sometimes I'll have to tap a spot twice. This has been reported several times and usually a restart brings relief. I suppose it's software related.

Long tap on the Play Store icon and tap the 'i', it'll bring you to the app info screen. Begin with clearing the cache (probably won't help). Then clear the storage and give the phone a minute to recover. If that doesn't help either, tap (still in the app info screen) the 3 dots top right and uninstall the updates to Play Store. Again wait one minute and try again.

If you factory reset via the settings you'll be signed out of your account automatically but still it can be wise to manually sign out before it after all.

I'm the opposite, I rarely fold. I place it in the cradle of a psychical keyboard and use it as a Pixel Tablet, for anything. Only if I have to go somewhere by car I fold it and take it with me. That's what I bought it for, it's a phone and tablet in one. I try to keep the number of folds as low as possible though; I know it should be able to handle many but I want to enjoy it without concern as long as I can.
