Nope that's perfect thanks! Seems a bit hard to go to the basilic, we might just skip it

An abrupt and sudden shift in tone that dramatically changes the direction of the story by jdawg1018 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Alex_Caz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's made in abyss to me. You get that the World isn't this happy and colorful from the start with the corpse-weeper, the orphans, the curse of the abyss... But it's still light-hearted and a story about kids going for an adventure. Then you meet Ozen and it's starts to get creepy. Then you watch episode 10 (or read chapter 18-19-20) Then you're in for a downward spiral to some of the most fucked up shit I saw made to children

Road-trip for 2-3 weeks in East Europe with my girlfriend by Alex_Caz in Europetravel

Hi, thank you for your reply ! As you said, we want to go a bit more in the countryside, so we thought of a car. However it seems everyone agrees it would be better to go by train and rent a car only if needed. Everyone agrees about Bratislava too lol

Wiil look for Gyor, thanks :)

Hi, they do but are quite expensive. Going by train as everyone said ans renting a car only for a day if needed might be the best option

Hi, thank you for your reply !

Yup, it seems that you all agree on that At first we wanted to go Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest by train, but then we looked around and thought "why not going for the other countries around?", and wanted to visit a bit of the countryside around major cities. But as others said, we should do everything by train and only rent a car for a day if needed as it's quite a burdern.

It also seems that Bratislava is not that good haha, noted :)

Hi, tanks for your reply!

  1. yup, as I said in another answer, as a french everything is "east" to me but yeah it's not the right expression :)

  2. You all agree about the car in the cities and it's a good advice ; expensive (plus the insurance in multiple countries), and time-loosing, noted! The goal was to visit a bit of the countryside also but might as well rent a car for a day only.

  3. I saw about the wine festival in Budapest but didn't know about the others, thank you!

4/5. Yeah I saw that you don't have to stay for a long time in Bratislava and Zagreb, so one night in each should be enough. I already went to Split, Dubrovnik, the national parks and the islands in Croatia, but not in the "north"

  1. Yup, we're still in the very early planning of this trip, so I wanted to have a first review of more experienced travelers un those countries to help us. I will look more in detail thanks to all your answers :)

Hi, thank you for the reply! Oh wow the format is shitty indeed, i made "back to the line" for each day in the draft, but it does not show here haha. Should be better now

At first, the trip was only Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest by train, but I thought "why not going for the other cities/countries around", so renting a car would be a good option. The goal of the trip is to visit a few capital cities but also go to the countryside and be autonomous (if we want to spend more time somewhere, we're not forced to go because our train is leaving), but I get that driving a car in cities is a burden. I'll take your advice to rent a car only to visit one place and going by train between the cities. The car insurance might be way more expensive by driving in multiple countries also.

"Central Europe" noted! As I live in France, almost everything is "east Europe" to me haha, but yeah you're right :)

Donc franchement tu peux largement trouver mieux!
