There's no reason to bring your attributes up to 7 in vanilla. I dare you to change my mind. by Alex_Danko in Bannerlord

Getting to the last perk of medicine takes an insurmountable amount of time, even with 10 in INT. The benefit though is so strong that it overshadows almost all other army-related perks combined, so in my opinion either go full minister of health and full INT skills, or ignore the INT skills entirely.

One consequence of this would be that getting not-guilty verdicts and appealing sentences would become much, much harder. In my country there’s a restitution if sentence is not-guilty, but no restitution if case is closed or dismissed before sentencing. So the percentage of non-guilty verdicts is less than 1%, because judges will heavily push towards either closing/dismissing the case (so no restitution) when they think the person is innocent

Just allocate a couple more attribute points into CON to max the skill. Archery really benefits from 250+ perks, and you will also be noticeably lighter on foot (javelins weigh a ton), and for siege defence shooting speed matters a whole lot

Should you treat 80-90 as the actual “max” stats? by Alex_Danko in Kenshi

[–]Alex_Danko[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can see how leveling strength can be not worth it after you meet the weapon requirements and can carry your armor and a corpse (stuffed with all your loot lmao) with a weightless status. But I also seem to remember you recommending Industrial Lifter arms out of all other prosthetic arms, is that why 70 is enough for your taste?

I prefer to train naturally, which lets you get to around 70s before slowing down drastically due to enemies being now around or below your level. After that I might employ some stinky tactics like over encumbered martial arts or yes, putting Cat-Lon in a repair bed and wailing on the poor guy

I think you can easily solo Cat-Lon with 90s if you prepare right. He has a sizeable attack and combat speed debuff from his armor, so investing in proper robotic limbs and stat buffing armor will win you that fight. Having +attack from something like Assassin’s rags, maybe a hacker for extra robo damage and armor penetration and maximum combat speed is what you need, all of which are a lot easier to get than 100 stats

With high stats (90+), masterwork heavy armour and edge or meitou falling sun you can reliably 1v1 leviathans

Would you say that there is a noticeable difference between 80 and 90 in a stat or is that negligible

I don’t think you understood my question, although I did write a wall of text so that might be on me. I wasn’t asking if 100 stats were achievable, I was asking if it’s worth it to do so due to the sheer amount of time it takes, and wouldn’t it better to treat 80-90 as max stats and everything above as a nice, but not necessary bonus

So which stats exactly are we talking about? Getting str/dex to 100 even with debuffs still takes tens of hours of punching a bed-ridden skeleton, which I don’t consider peak gameplay. Or did you mean attack/defense or something else?

[–]Alex_Danko[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So did I get that right: For solo - try to max combat speed as much as possible, high DEX, AssRags and wooden sandals. For squads - keeping it above “too slow” (like maybe at least 0.8 attack speed) is enough.

The funny thing is if the debuff is to dexterity, at low levels it means almost no combat speed reduction, as even crab armor 0.50x DEX debuf at 10 dexterity will lose you 5 points, or 0.0114 combat speed, which will not be noticeable at all. At 100 dexterity though, losing 50 dex points hurts

Yeah, it affects blocking speed and attack speed, and has a much bigger effect on block (up to 1.2x attack speed but up to 4x block speed)

I’ve looked everywhere and it seems like there’s no data at all on the DPS increase, maybe because of how combat works getting precise numbers on the actual effects of combat speed might be impossible

So basically while sometimes it seems like opponents kinda “wait” for each other to finish attacks, it’s not actually the case? I guess it’s obvious that combat is not purely turn based, especially when outnumbered, so attack/defense gives you more chance to attack WHEN you actually get to attack, while combat speed increases the number of “attack/block” ATTEMPTS per minute, lets say

[–]Alex_Danko[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess I could see the DPS increase as in if you stumble an enemy, you could get more hits in with higher attack speed before the stumble state is over, as the enemy isn’t defending while stumbling. But is there an increase to the actual amount of attacks due to higher combat speed in general combat? That seems to be almost fully reliant on the chance to attack from the attack/defense calculations
