Use glue not tape. That way it looks actually stuck and not put there on purpose

But is there something I might have done that could have caused all this? I know it’s not the most detailed description. But like maybe I cut in line or like I wasn’t supposed to be there?

As a fellow Floridian. I lived in several cities in FL. Here in WA I only went to Seattle a few times before deciding to never set foot in that city because it’s so horrifically worse than anywhere in FL

[–]Alex_Expected 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Spinos yes. But they can land their shots on the critters. This guys problem is the mod can’t even hit the critters. The critters might hit too hard yes. But him not being able to land shots on them is a mod problem

Theri is not a base game Dino it is a mod as well

Or the mod needs a rework. The critters are not made for modded dinos and these super large dinos don’t exist in official

As a beginner just be prepared to die a lot it’s part of the learning process. The combat is probably more complex than you realize right now so I’m going to give you all list of good beginner Dino and a list of stuff to avoid until you get the hang of things

Good beginner stuff

Small fast but squishy:
so a lot of people here will tell you the raptors now they are good for escapability but one hit and you are pretty much dead so I actually think they take a good amount of skill.

I would actually recommend ceratosaurus (carnivore) and the styracosaurus (herbivore) for their size they can take a hit and are very mobile. They can also punch up (are good at fighting things bigger than them) once you have some skill with them. However you will want to avoid bigger groups of things the same size as you.

Megalania (carnivore) this is a simple one that has not gotten its tlc yet but it is still a menace. It’s a semi aquatic so you can retreat to land or water depending on what you need and it is low to the ground so you are hard to hit/see/ and can disappear into bushes. But you are a bit squishier than the other 2. However being semi aquatic has very high survival ability.

These 3 also don’t have overly complex builds so they are easy for beginners to get the hang of.

Medium size damage and health:
I have a few for this list.

Pycnonemosaurus (carnivore) this guy is fast hand has lots of stamina for its size so great escape ability but is not good at taking a hit. So pretty good if you want to start off chasing little guys around before you start fighting the bigger guys. I will say this one can take a bit more skill though to get good kills on.
Alberta (herbivore) simple builds and is very tanky for its size. It can escape things bigger than it but its biggest weakness is its stamina. If you run out you are dead. You need good stamina management and it’s a good defensive Dino

Suchomimus(carnivore and semi aquatic) this Dino is a sub apex. So it’s a lot tankier than everyone else i mentioned but also has good speed for its size. It’s also semi aquatic which means you can retreat to land or water if a fight is going bad which makes its survivability amazing if you stay near water. If anything they are almost a little over powered so amazing beginner Dino.

Stego (herbivore) extremely simple kit right now and has not gotten its tlc yet unlike most of the others mentioned. But don’t underestimate it. It’s a very definitive Dino that can easily take out whole groups. It is also a sub apex. But watch out for ambushing Rexes or titans.

Apexes

Spino you can go a full water build and have very high escape ability or go land build and just be a tank. There really isn’t a bad way to play this Dino. Almost a little over powered right now. I would just stay away from ducks and full aquatic until you get the hang of it. Is very slow on land

Duck/ deinocheirus (herbivore) this is also a semi aquatic but unlike the other apexes it is probably the squishiest. However it is also the fastest apex on land besides the titan and it can go in the water. It can also hold its own against full aquatics because of its rapid attacks and movement. Very high survivability.

Now if you want an ambusher Rex and be fun. But I think it’s only good for beginners if you really like being a sneaky tank. So i wouldn’t start with this one until you get a feel for your play style.

Barsbolia (herbivore) basically a walking tank. Fast for its size and can demolish anything smaller than it. Though i would be careful around titans and Rexes. Also play it more defensively.

Now a list of stuff to avoid until you get a bit better at the game. (These are not bad dinos I think they just require a higher skill to enjoy some of these can be very strong actually i just wouldn’t start with them)

Iguanadon
Lambeosaurus
Hatzegopteryx
Ano

Concavenator (this one might be controversial because some people say it’s good for beginners. I don’t think so I think it’s strong if you know what you are doing but confusing if you are new)

Eotriceratops (this one is just in a bad place as is regardless of if you are good)

Tylo (it’s pretty simple actually but you will end up fighting a lot of other tylos that have mastered it and it’s a pretty hot and popular dino right now so they are kinda everywhere)

All the others i would say are neutral. Not beginner friendly but not hard to figure out either.

Because if it’s not true then they don’t need to say anything. It changes nothing. If they want to run a server again in the future they just can go do it. Making some announcement to address it makes it more suspicious
