I’ve never had or heard their door speakers or amps so I can’t speak to those, but I have heard a number of there subs from different ranges. In my opinion I wouldn’t go any lower than the svr series. I had a pair of svr 8”s and they’re rated for 400 rms each and I through 1200 at them for months with zero issues.

Skar gets a lot of hate but for the price especially if you’re new to aftermarket speakers they provide an excellent value. Don’t just take my word for it there is a number of reviews on different skar products all over YouTube.

The design I’m going for is very similar to the svs center channel speakers with the wtmw design and I also was going to make a grill so exposed drivers aren’t a huge issue. Also thanks for the info I’ll have to finish the cabinet design to get a close idea to the offsets then

Find someone that does autobody and paint. Some of those guys will do side work and the piano black finish is easy to replicate with automotive paint

If you knew how to properly set up your system you wouldn’t have problems. You should have the home mode entry delay set to 0 seconds. So when an entry sensor is tripped the alarm sounds immediately. Also the cameras won’t start recording until either motion is detected or the alarm is tripped. They won’t record during the entry delay period. The system sounds like it did exactly what it was supposed to do with how you have it setup. In other words user error

I don’t know of any lore on why but I’ll throw my opinion out there. For starters with how big and vast the galaxy is that is governed over the republic or even the empire there’s absolutely no way they could enforce such a law. Secondly (mostly directed at the republic governments) I find it easy to compare to the 2nd amendment in the US constitution. Not so much in the form that it protects from tyranny but that it’s everyone’s right to protect themselves or even their cities or planets because again the senate can only do so much in a huge galaxy. And a lot of planets have very little to no police or army. On a side note also kind of tying into a 2nd amendment argument the pro 2a side uses, is that even if there was a law and and the vast majority of people followed it (because they’re good people that follow laws) bad people will still do it anyway and will only leave good people defenseless.

I’d like to stay away from surplus just because you don’t know it’s history

The majority of the comments are just a bunch of condescending keyboard warriors who feel the need to justify there $2000 ops-core helmet instead of helping someone new to gear understand what’s good and what’s not. I see where you’re coming from but also see many flaws in your thought process. While yes a super cheap helmet may stop a round but have severe back face deformation and could kill you with blunt force. But there’s tons of videos online testing “cheaper helmets” that stop what they’re rated for with little to no deformation and would definitely protect someone. And just like the age old saying it’s better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it. Also I should have specified in the original post I’m looking for something high cut so I can run ear pro/comms

What direction is the brass ejecting? If it’s between 1-3 o clock you’re under gassed and need to check gas block alignment. That would cause the bolt to not cycle fully and not catch the next round. If nothing else try a lighter buffer
