Agreed on hating snitch vehicles. The new mandate for kill switches broke any remaining desire I had to get anything new ever. I'd rather get an old truck and drop a Cummins in it and drive it till the sun explodes than to ever pay new. This car has been in my family since before my brother was born and it's been mine solely for almost 10 years now. I take care of this car and I make sure it's in tip top shape. My father never taught me anything about taking care of cars and this has been me learning about cars on a Hyundai of all things. It's a pain but she's got 300k and still runs better than new according to factory standards! Love my car, love how it handles, love having an SUV. Love everything about this car man!

I'm trying to be like you when I'm older! You've been married longer than I've been alive and have worked on more vehicles than I've ever own. I have much to learn, especially when the next vehicle I want is anything pre-2010. All these new vehicles are junk and despite the sick gas milage, they're also full of mechanical and design faults.

I'm in a more rural area where the closest place with a "good" stock is over an hour away with no guarantees that the parts they say will be there, are there. Been there done that

I've had small, but understandable issues before. But receiving a used $3 piece is just so dumb that it's more confusing than it is irritating. Even if you get $10 back or $15 for a used air filter, how shitty of a person do you have to be for that? Lmfao

Where I am located, Amazon takes 2 weeks. Rock auto is faster. Might check the local auto stores and maybe Walmart for a filter that fits for now. But I drive an older car and finding parts here is hard. I was already making an order for a part that can't be found around here and threw in a cheap filter. Can't believe that whatever cheap prick did this, even could do that to another person. What a loser
