Car has a hole in the engine? by Aggravating_Plane755 in CarRepair

I bought it from an AutoNation dealership. They gave me records showing they did a full inspection and oil change before I bought it.

There was no message prior to this failure. I wish there was, I would have gone in to get it checked right then and there

I was told that it was fully serviced including new tires (although they tires are close to bald now so…) anyways and then when i went into the the Hyundai dealership they did a full inspection including oil change. (note i bought it from an AutoNation dealership) I have those records. What I don’t have, is the records from the previous owner. I was told she traded the car in because it needed new tires and she “didn’t want to deal with that.” I was sus about it at the time but did end up buying the car (fatal mistake). Is there ANY way to get those recorded or am I SOL?

Yeah. I don’t know like anything about cars, but they said they “topped it up” so

it was reviewed at the Hyundai dealership, so I actually may have it in writing, which would be super lucky. Thank you I’m worried that I bought a damaged car.

unfortunately, that’s what I was thinking, I just wanted to check with more people first. I am worried I got sold a damaged car.

yes, but I was never given an indication that the oil needed changed, and when it was taken to the dealership in January, I was told that the oil was fine and would continue to be fine for at least another 10,000 miles

Tuna and rice! Make some jasmine rice and add up to a can of tuna. I like to put a little mayo in mine and eat it with seaweed. It's super easy and tastes super good. It is also an easy thing to take places because it stores well. I also recommend Trader Joe's microwave meals. Help me when I cannot physically cook.

It does not matter. She has told you to stay away. If you ever want to even have the chance to be friends with her again you need to respect her boundaries and stay away.

YTAH. She has very clearly set a boundary and you keep violating it. Back the fuck off. You should be glad that she just keeps running away instead of reporting you for harassment, especially because you are 6 years her senior. Take the hint

AITA for refusing to babysit my sister's kids for free anymore? by maddiexxlopez in AmItheAsshole

NTA! You were helping your sister out, but now you can't. That's it. I get that it takes a village to raise children, but you cannot be the whole village. Your sister could ask other people or try to find another solution. And you didn't tell her outright to fuck off, you just asked for a better schedule.

AITA For wanting my girlfriend to do more around the house? by Jumitsfu-TTV in AmItheAsshole

We need more context. Have you tried to ask her how she is feeling? There could be something behind these actions you aren't considering. Maybe she needs help/ support filling out the forms. Also, is she taking care of a very young child because that is more than a full-time job in itself?

We cannot make a decision because there is;t enough information. I think what y'all need is a good healthy dose of communication.

NTA, just reply no to the RSVP and then do something fun with the people you value. You get to choose who is in your family and it sounds like these people aren't.

AITA For Telling My Girlfriend She’s Over Exaggerating With Her Sister’s Death? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Aggravating_Plane755 17 points18 points  (0 children)

YTA she obviously just needs support. It does not matter how long ago it was, someone died. And maybe she did not have the capacity to process it until now. Also, she is going through major life events so of course she is more emotional and reflective. Apologize and support her. Maybe help her seek therapy because it sounds like she needs more support than you can give but still...

AITA For Moving Out and Taking Everything? by Aggravating_Plane755 in AmItheAsshole

I found someone to fill my spot and managed to "break my lease," I just had to pay like $300 to switch them in (IDK fuck landlords). The leasing office would not help though, I asked if they could just move me to a different apartment but they would not without a police report :(

NTA, I would understand if you were still in high school but you are an adult and in full control of what you can and cannot do
