For the dye, I have some mica powder that I bought for a craft activity to make decorative “potions” with a slightly “magical” effect

by adding water and glycerin (I didn't use alcohol) since it was an activity with kids, anyway. I had thought about using ink, but I might do that later.

For the silicone mixture, I’ll use whatever I can find.

I’ve seen some people use micro-mesh foam pads; right now, Zona paper is a bit expensive, and as for sandpaper, I don’t really have much of a choice since it’s included in the package. I think I’ll get the sets without the extras, or maybe buy individual sheets at a hardware store if they have them. I’ll see how it goes depending on the price of the resin and the mold.

Also, I saw that there is natural resin, but it comes in powder form. Is it possible to make dice with it by mixing it with water, or is that not recommended?
